The community as a whole picks and chooses who survives and how the dollars we generate should be spent and who they should support. I would never tell anyone that they are forced to do this or that with their business.

GFY is divided on this issue. At first glance, it may seem as though the GFY community is against tubes, but that is not entirely true. Only those who are against tubes speak out on the subject. Proponents of tubes simply keep quiet and buy spots. I noticed lots of big sponsors kept quiet on this issue. It is obvious, they are either advocates of tubes or are buying traffic from them.

It has nothing to do with message board people being pissy and everything to do with being everyone's beat-stick for a week because his employer decided to make a horrible decision without any explanation and hide for a week, basically forcing his name into most conversations about a tube skin on GFY because he was the only GFY admin/mod public throughout it. They didn't support him in any way while that skin was up despite him being constantly bombarded with people questioning HIS integrity, especially with all the bannings he had to do. Some people that fled to other boards over this may not see this sticky and may still think Ice is the asshole at GFY, all because Eric couldn't take a few minutes to make a post...hell, even 2 seconds to simply say "this was my call, Ice was not the decision maker" or something along those lines. God forbid Ice should ever want to do business on his own someday, do you think he should be in any way tied to a tube skin at an adult webmaster forum or banning legends who disagreed with it? Obviously he couldn't post an explanation of their decision himself because he would have no way of explaining Eric/Playboy's mindset behind that decision (and if the original post is actually true, even if he would have GUESSED, he'd have been wrong for sure). Ice has surely taken flack from people before, but this was a week he should not have had to endure. He pressed on and did anyways so good for him.

Heck, one of the major things that helped pry me from the company I had worked for for 4 years was that I was constantly on the front lines fighting to retain clients and ensure we were giving them good prompt service and I rarely got any support from management or even acknowledgement of my efforts. After the fact is nice and all but isn't good enough. If you were a manager of a Walmart and for a week you had to put up advertisements throughout the store for Martinez the illegal drug dealer down the street with no explanation as to why the decision was made and you are the one left to get bitched at by all the customers, would YOU continue working for Walmart after that?

Skin was for TrafficJunky correct? I don't see a single tube site on Traffic Junky. I see that they are a broker for tube traffic, but I don't see a skin on that domain.

So, if we are to look at the logic that is being stated here in this thread. GFY takes a skin from a company that works with tubes. Now I looked on another board and I see certain banned personalities who work and shoot very good content for Twisty's tearing GFY apart for their decision. If they shoot for Twisty's and Twisty's works with Tubes, isn't this the same thing?

Additionally, I see MikeSouth started a new board. I go to his TGP and he is promoting Brazzers in his galleries. Well Brazzers has been shown to be the owners of TrafficJunky. So they work directly with the tubes.

All things that make me say hmmm....

Even if they themselves aren't a tube site, if you don't understand the issue there, then not sure I can help you. If it was simply TrafficJunky without use of the tube images, I doubt 90% of the people that were upset would have still been upset.

That's aside from the fact that it's a traffic broker selling traffic that's been gotten pretty much entirely from theft advertising on a board with most of the thief's victims.

I don't see a single tube site on Traffic Junky. I see that they are a broker for tube traffic, but I don't see a skin on that domain. So, if we are to look at the logic that is being stated here in this thread. GFY takes a skin from a company that works with tubes. Now I looked on another board and I see certain banned personalities who work and shoot very good content for Twisty's tearing GFY apart for their decision. If they shoot for Twisty's and Twisty's works with Tubes, isn't this the same thing? Additionally, I see MikeSouth started a new board. I go to his TGP and he is promoting Brazzers in his galleries. Well Brazzers has been shown to be the owners of TrafficJunky. So they work directly with the tubes. All things that make me say hmmm....
