My cherry tomato plant was about 8" when I bought it and grew to over 5' tall and probably 2-3' wide. I'd move it out and away from the jalapenos asap. The jalapenos also get pretty big and wide.

Very nice PB. I garden a lot as well, just no pics right now.

Couple pointers. Your rosemary will last years and it will need its own pot very soon anyways. It has aggressive roots. It will compete with your chives which can also last years. I would have both of those in their own containers.

You could have a basil in with your tomato or even a bean plant. They will not compete. Kind of curious where your located now (still AZ?) cause tomatoes are already in production here and basil is gone to seed. Speaking of which I would watch your basil each day. Once you see signs of flowers starting. Clip them and pull all the leaves. If there is to much for you, just chop it all and add about 1 tablespoon to each cube of an ice cube tray - cover with water and freeze. That can work with almost all fresh herbs.

Of course, you pick a plant that does not want your attention and try to give it.

OK, now this photo is just fucked up ;)

The plant is an orchid, but it requires quite a lot of moisture in the atmosphere to develop and flower - stick it in the bathroom, or let its base hang in a large glass vase above a surface of water.

Now, enough of the plant - what the FUCK is that big fuckoff insect/animal in the background?????

Was wondering when someone else would notice the enemy of godzilla crawling around in that picture.

She appears to have several orchids. They also really like their own special food. I know we hit our orchids with a light misting with the spray bottle whenever. The bottle just sits by them and typically someone will give it a mist once or twice a day.

I had forgot to mention with the herbs that the thyme will enjoy spreading out. If you do not want it to invade other areas keep trimming whatever climbs the sides. It will re-root itself when it finds even some small amounts of dirt. We have some in our front yard that we intentionally let grow between some paving stones. It recovers quickly and does not mind abuse. So people can step on it every so often and it releases the scent into the air but never hurts the thyme that is between the paving stones. Technically we could eat that too, but we have another huge patch elsewhere near other herbs.

As of this year almost all plants we have added and all but 1 tree now provide something to us. We left in place one large oak since it does shade the house and is healthy. Everything else now is a fruit tree, vegetable, herb, or something along those lines. Even several of our flowers are edible. There are a few other flowers but yeah things need to produce. Just really waiting for the pomegranate trees to start producing. Have been super impressed with our purchase of our bay laurel tree.

Ever seen "lady of the night" flower?
It only comes out at midnight and only for 4 hours then died and drops off.
Only flowers once a year too so if you miss it back luck. Normally on a full moon.
It has a really nice smell too, if you could bottle the smell and sell it to women you would make millions.
