Do you love FireFox?

By the way. FireFox is the most vulnerable browser ever:

I use firefox the most though, with no script... so I'm back to leading the pack with security.

Firefox is the most vulnerable because it's the most used. Same thing happens with Windows in relation to MAC OS or Linux.

Ya I don't buy that graph at all. IE is way more insecure than FF, I only use FF for certain things anymore, use chrome 95% of the time and it rocks.

I love it so much, the first thing I did when I got my new Windows 7 laptop, was to use IE to go get Firefox.

then i erase the fucking shortcut to IE, and hopefully I never see it again.

Nothing is ever 100% secure. If you configure FF right the security is plenty good.

FF is a better browser in every other way, no way would I switch back to IE just because at this moment in time it just happens to be slightly more secure. The security issue seems to go back and forth between versions. IE will get attacked more and hit harder because it has a higher percentage of users so I still think you have a better chance getting hit using IE. Just like PCs get hit harder then Macs.

Really? You want to say that FF is the most used browser? The second place gos to Safari and only the 3rd - to IE.

Not let's get back to the numbers (for those who don't "buy that graph" )

1) Mozilla Firefox Multiple Vulnerabilities - Highly critical

2) Apple Safari Multiple Vulnerabilities - Highly critical

3) Microsoft Internet Explorer Multiple Vulnerabilities - Highly critical

4) Google Chrome Two Vulnerabilities - Moderately critical

It's a % of vulnerability among 4 compared browsers by number of discovered ones.

This from another source. But still, FireFox is 40%+ while IE8 is less than 15%. The numbers say it all.

Miles better than Firefox.

Agreed. But there are no useful plugins for it, and that is the only problem.

BTW: according to stats, Opera is the most popular browser in Russia (something about 60%-70% of all AFAIR). I don't know why it's not popular in other countries.

that is the most vague graph i've ever seen- how do you quantify a browser's vulnerability to the internet? Looks like something that would scare my grandparents though

Did "you" make that graph, where does this data come from? Just the links you posted below and you "compiled" it? lol

I use FF and a nice reliable virus software, I would not say that FF is "highly vulnerable" but I have seen a HUGE increase of "ads" that make my virus software go apeshit
