What is the optimal membership price for a smal paysite?
I have 3 day trial for $1.85 then $29.95
1 Month Only $24.95
3 Month Only $49.95

I have a lot of content so I think the surfer that cansel are because they do not want to pay $29.95 more than them would be dissatisfied with the content, because I very rarely, almost never get chargeback.
Should I remove the trial membership (higher price on rebill) with full view of the deteriorating economy.

I do not do trials. I almost never have a charge back on any of the sites. I also do not accept checks for payment. I used to, but not any more.

$29.95/34.95

Also offer a 3/6 month discounted option on some sites.

However, I also shoot and have a lot of content. That said, when I had first started out, I think I started at $19.95, and after 6 months raised it to $24.95, and then $29.95. Never had a complaint.

You're talking about 2 different things. Sales are a direct reflection of the tour. Unless the traffic is coming from a review/detailed blog entry the hotness of the tour is what will get people in. Rebills can only occur after they get in the door.

Personally my sites have always sold better at full price than on trials, but there's plenty of programs that make a good living off trials.

Keep in mind getting a trial/low price sale isn't necessarily to get the person in the door to enjoy the content, then hope for a rebill. Some use trials to obtain a working credit card numbers and charge for as many purchases as possible.

Without seeing what you're talking about it's hard to say either way
