any use for a Twitter account squatting on a celebrity name?

haven't done anything on it at all in many months, had just squatted it with a couple of "really swamped at the moment" posts, but I just looked at it for the first time in a long time and notice that it now has 1000 followers and is on 25 lists and has PR5.... I should probably do something with it before someone that works for the celeb notices it and has it taken down... only 1000 followers but I'm sure that could explode in a day or two if I started posting/following...

is it worth the time do you think? how would you exploit this, drop a link to a good landing page of some sort? ...or should I just forget about it and keep checking in on it as a curiosity until it gets taken away sooner or later?

Personally I hate Twitter so I never invested more than a minute or two looking into it, but this account growing on its own a bit like this intrigued me, especially since they all think its a legit account

If that celeb ever joins Twitter they will ask for a "verified account" and they will take that name away from you and give it to them..or if enough people report you for spam they will take it down so before that happens WHY NOT post some links, spend 10mins a day doing it..get creative so it's not so obvious it's spam..and see what happens?

Ditto. I wouldn't devote too much time to it since it's high risk / can get pulled at any moment, but that's not to say you shouldn't get some use out of it while you can.

So... who is it? Balki?

Good idea, but you can use a site like tweetlater, take about an hour, set it up to make posts for you and you won't need to touch it.

Too many and you will get them banned. 1 is probably ok, until the celeb wants it.. .
