Anyone ever seriously thought about it? Would the pain of death hurt more than the pain of life? Would it all just go black and that's it or I wonder if if you will transition somewhere else, be it good or bad?

Thought about that too. Maybe the moment one life dies you instantaneously start a new one as someone is giving birth. That would be crazy. Sort of like reformatting and starting over. If we knew that was it, it would make things easier for a lot of us.

I tried to kill myself a year and a half ago and was in the hospital for awhile. I got forced into a bunch of bullshit group therapy...it was terrible.

The moral of my story is that I am better now and happy to be alive, and whatever you are going through - you can get through it. It just takes a lot of discipline and trial and error...but it can be done.

If you are thinking about going on medications, keep in mind that things might get worse before they get better, and the doctors pretty much have to play a guessing game for several months to figure out what kind of drugs you need and in what quantities. Dealing with the side effects can be a real pain in the ass too

I am sure the parents and other relatives would be hurt. Scarred for life even.
Suicide often comes from a depression. A depression is something can be cured.

If you are talking about killing yourself here. Go see a doctor and tell him your plans. Or ask your best friends to call the doctor for you. You may not have to hurt the people around you and you may even find life worth living again.

some kid in my high school tried to kill himself by shooting himself in the head with his dads 9mm. bullet ended up not killing him, but causing major brain damage and now he is almost a vegetable. very sad to see someone like that and want to take their own life and now has to be supported by others for the rest of his.
