So, name and websites.

What you are saying is if someone has an obscure name and crappy websites, then you won't accept them to your program.

Not likely, unless the webmaster, once approved, mentions they were referred by you.

I just tried my own referral link, and was directed to the PR main page. I clicked signup, and got the maintenance message.

Thats pushing it a bit in these times of no money & people trying to find work

Are you choosing your affiliates because your giving yourself a pretty high status, when even companies such as RK have anyone sell for them. Or is it that your fed up with lists of affiliates that either do nothing to help themselves let alone your websites.

More like extremely fed up with 9 out of 10 applicants just wanting to commit fraud, then proceeding to go to the boards and screem bloody murder when we wont pay them. The rampid affiliate fraud has taken over the focus of several of our employees who should be able to concentrate their efforts on other things. Yes, this is a case of you having to suffer because of the shady efforts of others, but I refuse to spend 24 hours a day weeding through transactions and checking referring url's to find out that the majority of sales sent by new affiliates are not legitimate.

If you are a legitimate webmaster, you will have no problem getting an account, it might take a little longer than it used to, but that's the way it is for now. If you are looking to enrol in the program, talk to our webmaster support.

icq: 150-557-167
email: Webmaster at pimproll dot com

do we do this because we think we are cool, or above others? no! Do I think it is a priveledge to be able to be part of PimpRoll, yes, just like I think it is a priveledge to be able to get your traffic, but I still don't want a bunch of shady fucks destroying our surfers perceptions of our business practices. We run a clean ship, and we expect those who send us traffic to do the same.

The webmaster join form will be going back up in the future, but it will be a lot different than it was.

Phil

Webmaster referrals will be taken care of on the next gen application page.

Like Phil said if you are a solid webmaster you will have no problem gaining membership to the PimpRoll affiliate program.

Cant say I blame you guys one bit. In the long run it will only help the legit webmasters too.

I didnt realize how much fraud there is out there until I started my own program. I dont even offer pps either! I cant emagine a program of your size.

I have to now check EVERY single transaction that comes through our websites (200 a day sometimes) to see if the IP matches the location, referring url, and sometimes even call verify the orders. It's gotten to be insane. I just termed a moron today for committing fraud.

I don't blame you guys.
