Is there an end to honing your conversions?

I always try to better conversions. It is at a point where it is exhausting.

I have done so many changes to one site over the years and while certainly making progress and more money, I am always left with this thought that something is amiss.

One site... www.vstrippoker.com

I know how that site needs to be set up to sell. Tried a million different ways to make the sale and it is working now. Making a couple more changes real soon that will only do better.

The problem I have is a 3% successful CC transaction on the form hits. 3 out of 100 people are paying right now. I have never had more sales then now, don't get me wrong, but why is this percent so low?

This is not a 1-2-3 bam hit join form site.

I have researched alternate processors and paying $1500 for visa/master fee and etc. etc. other fees while also needing nats to keep affiliates able to get paid is 1) alot of fuckin work 2) alot of money right now

Why is my ccbill form only getting 3%? I tried doing the custom form thing and after forwarding ccbill's email to one of the best designers in this industry to come up with something I still have nothing. Form can't be hosted on your site, all images are needed in a directory on ccbill, what else? Why is it difficult to get a custom design form that does not look like a 1992 design on ccbill's end?

I just told the designer to nix the entire project and make my /join page the best it could be... which he did. Now I am sending all of these hits to CCBill page and why do I have this 3% conversion?

What the fuck is the answer?

The key to better conversions is to have higher quality traffic. This could mean traffic that is more niched to your niche. This could also mean traffic coming from Search Engines from people who search keywords for the thing that they want to buy. This could also mean trading traffic with people who have good quality traffic.

Anyway, I'm not an expert on this. Don't take my word for it.

Good luck, leprechaun style. Bump for more replies.

This may seem as a retarted redundency but here goes...

CCbill.... I would like people when the get to my join form with all the great graphics and allure to sell a site to not have to click to your page to pay. I want that information on my end and a customer to be able to input username, password, cc info. right there.

Why do I have to lose sales because of a policy with a 1990's design with NO love from my site on your page?

Is the answer to find alternative billing?

I think they are providing more safty with keeping the ccbill away like it is because with billing done in a private way promotes shaving and things like that from thier webmasters.. I might be way off but i havent been out and about looking at programs and things.

This is not the problem. The problem is to not be able to customize your ccbill join and form page how you like It, which is worthless in this day and age IMO.

Simple wording and arrangement of words would do wonders, imo. I don't agree that customizing a form is worthless... it should have some feel of the site. I am using a form I can't upload a banner on because, IMO, it is the best one available. The forms I uploaded a banner to had bigger words which again leads me to my first statement about wording and arrangement of words.

In the form could say, 29.95 monthly (30 days).

Then in the body of text could say "membership is recurring, cancel at any time by visiting ccbill.com"

And not right above the submit form. Say the words but Safe, Secure, etc. should be above the submit form. A feeling given to the consumer that this is a safe purchase. A safe purchase is also realized if the form page looks somewhat like the site itself, imo.

Very, very small tweeks have HUGE impacts on conversions. The ccbill form is the last step in this process and I feel the weakest link.

You missunderstood my post. I think It's worthless that you can't customize them.

1 thing that I have seen done and it honestly works is to tell the surfer step by step what they need to do. 1. Do this. 2. Do that. 3. Do the other thing.

Your http://www.vstrippoker.com/join.html is quite busy and on the bottom of the text Click here to pay under each option. But at the top I see a BIG blinking Join here. so could you be confusing the surfer? I see that it ends up basically the same place but still.

just a thought.
