Wow. Canada just bitch-slapped Norway.

I thought the US men's hockey team whipping Sweden earlier was one sided, but the beating Canada just put on Norway was impressive. That Canadian team looks like an NHL all star team.

Switching Iginla over to Crosby's line was a good move.

Looking forward to the CAN-US game.

Good job - Canada.

Some people say, "you scared the people on death row."

Canada does not have a death penalty, though.

Norway is a GREAT third tier team. They didn't come into the Olympics expecting to beat Canada. Frankly their goalie did an incredible job before being pulled.

No one is giving them credit, it could have been 42-0 just as easy. They held of Canada for a period.

True. They made it through first period or so quite nicely - then it fell completely apart. We NEVER expected to win.

first period for norway was a real surprise i think.. if they were able to keep that type of pace up, adapt to the obvious scouting canada had done with the no point shooter could have gone differently

The US beat Switzerland...a far cry from the reigning gold medal holders Sweden.

if it wasn't for their goalie, i think it could have been much worse. i felt bad for him when they pulled him, no real point when you are down that far. usa can should be great.

Actually I think they played a pretty great game. Like BradM said their goalie is very good for one thing. The guy is a carpenter in his off-ice life, and he comes in and only allows 3 goals in 2 periods against the NHL's best? That's incredible.

Norway will keep developing their minor hockey and bringing up good players and one day they'll be a definite contender for a medal.

What? Norway? Namibia will be next I believe?

It will be interesting to see as they play with some REAL team (there are few in the World)

Also I'd like to see as they try to get revenge for those two loses in a raw from Russians - the World best team in the history of ice hockey.
