godaddy sucks
I can't believe how shit their hosting is. I am downloading at 100kb/sec from my FTP right now on cable. Then their support tells me it's my ISP.
 What are some decent hosts? I don't need anything special...  |

Thats what you get for a $3/mo host.
Here's what I saw in 2006 with my 'not making any profit so fuck it' image host just updating the software; You are not alone:  If you're a cheap bastard, check out DWHS, I've never had a problem with the cheapies I've bought to assist or help out friends there for shared.

I bought my first server with Godaddy, it is still active today. I have never had so many problems with the 10+ servers I have purchased since. BUT the sites on their server rank incredibly well and don't want to risk moving them elsewhere.
On another note if you are just looking for something cheap, hostgator.com is decent. I have mainly dedicated server spread amongst many hosts but do use hostgator for some smaller projects. If you use the coupon CHEAPHOSTING you get the first month for $0.99 (if I remember correctly).
