We know that the CIA had it wrong and Russia was in trouble for a long time and collapsed under its own weight. Reagan did nothing but nice try at rewriting history. Check out the S and L Crisis. A diplomat gave bad advice to an Iraqi diplomat and we got into the Iraq war. Yes previous to that we had supplied Iraq. This was a win for Bush that he supplied and then bombed the same country?

Anyways, America pays a higher percent of GDP towards healthcare then other industrialized countries and we have worse care by most metrics. We handle it through our corporations. It hurts our competitiveness over seas with higher product costs. It does not seem to be working. So why are we fighting for the status quo? Look around the world and pick the best model and copy it. How hard is that?
