Maybe I neglected to mention that Roger Ailes was replying to charges that his network lies and engages in deliberate misinformation by saying ratings are the main consideration.

In other words, in his opinion, ratings are more important than truth.

Why would you watch anything on a network that tells you up front that you might not be getting the truth, but thanks for watching?

Glenn Beck = Paranoia personified. As bad as O'Reilly is, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity make him seem liberal anymore.

That's not to say liberal media is any better, but I was subjected to Fox News for years against my will (before I moved out) and it's pathetic they try to come off as NOT being biased.

I do agree that Fox reports stories that the others definitely stay away from. I suppose that could come down on either side of the fence in being good or bad.

CNN is better than both in that they play closer to the center. If you want real news though I'd suggest watching something that doesn't originate in this country as news in this country is concerned with ratings first and foremost.

Beck, Olberman, Limbaugh, Maddow, whoever, are all paid entertainers who are there to garner ratings for a network chasing advertising dollars.

If you look at who owns all these stations its comes down to very few people. Most are Jewish of course.
