Interesting side note about Ricky Martin and Mexico.
For years, he was personna non grata in Mexico because "they" (they being the heads of the entertainment industry there..and yes, there is such a beast in Mexico), knew he was gay and didn't want him performing in Mexico. They successfully blocked him for years. Wonder if Mexico is more liberated these days?

On my facebook page, one of my now very conservative former classmates (a hot cheerleader 20 years ago) posted; "Wow, ricky martin is gay? I didnt see that one coming!" And she meant it. Cultural conservatives have their heads so far up their asses. I wanted to say something but didn't.
