Hey,

I have been chosen to interview Alec in Phoenix, and although I don't know him very well I have asked around, and I want to know the answers to the below questions. I will expect him to answer these questions fully, on stage, in front of the Industry. I am leaving in the morning, so I won't respond to this thread or any questions he may have for me. If you (as an Industry) have other questions you would like me to ask him on stage please send them directly to [email protected]

I trust he will have real answers or he'll be GFY'd on stage in Phoenix!

Questions:

What kind of personal bias do you bring to XBiz and how do you measure that against true journalism?
How does that bias effect this Industry in the way you report news, press releases etc.?
Why did you choose to go head to head with AVN?
Please explain your side of the lawsuit filed against you by AVN?
Are you against extreme content? If yes, how do you get to choose what is extreme?
Why does it matter to you who breaks a story in the press first you or AVN?
You have 3 magazines Two big shows a year, a social networking site for Adult, The XBiz awards Ceremony, Adult Expo.....what is your plan, what is next?
Do you have a hand in .XXX?

I have several more questions to ask him if I have time, but I am going to need answers to these before we move forward.

Cynical! Don't hate. There have been a lot of items in the past that this space has had to weather, and the spot light of many outside entities has forced us to be truthful. If you are talking about truth between the folks you do business with..... get new folks to do business with!

It amazes me how he and his staff manage so many Magazines and Trade Shows. How do they keep up? Major props to them. They have come a long way.

Should be a great interview.
