Sarah Palin cannot help but get press coverage, it is insane. I have taken to muting MSNBC whenever she is 'doncha knowin' and winkin' and being all down homey... make me vom a little in my mouth nowadays just hearing her speak

you know loathe is probably too weak a word to use for my feelings towards Palin but I have to say she is a sound bite generator and she is becoming quite skilled at the 'cute attack'. My stomach rolls whenever i see her grinning maw but I have to respect the way she is able to manipulate the press to her own advantage.........The 'press' should wake up and see it for what it is but she draws eyeballs, that draws advertising dollars and that means it is our 'news'

The only way to do that is let the machine work for you and he is unwilling to do so.

If he really wanted to be president he could just let the machine work for him and get the money, get elected then simply not give in to the powers that be that helped finance him when they come calling. He could even use that as a campaign slogan for his re-election and let everyone know how he turned special interests away.

I think the guy has some great ideas, but I think he is far more interested in selling books than he is actually being president. It isn't a coincidence that each of the last three presidential elections that he has run in he has also released a book that same year.
