Like I said, there were lots and lots of "Facts" that have changed over the last 60 years and accepted as truth today even by holocaust scholars. My grandma was a holocaust surviver, and for her it existed and was very real. I am pretty sure she didn't just make that up for shits and giggles. On the rare occasion she talked about it you can pretty much tell when someone is spinning shit or not, and she wasn't.
