I'd like to say that I see that is an issue and something needs to be done... However something ELSE could be done to address that problem without putting in place more government regulation and more employees and more spending...

Fact is though, we all know something had to be done and no one was doing shit about shit and you damn well know republicans weren't about to tackle something like this. That's just politics but I don't like it and it doesn't give me faith in the person who's spouting it, only doubt. BUT I'm not the average voter either so it's really not targeted to me ;)

Ron Paul is too much an extremist IMO. If we were to gradually ease into him and his policies, I'd feel differently. But going from Obama to someone like Ron Paul would be a rough slap to the face.

I don't think it will be that tight. The republicans will throw him to the wolves much the way the Dems did Dukakis in 88 (i think it was).
