Should you put counter tracking code on the top of your page or on the bottom?
all the instructions say to put it before the ending < /body> tag, but so many times the user doesnt let the page fully load and the counter wont catch this user.
so is it better to put it on top of the page? |

It's better to put it on the bottom of the page since the counter requires a connection and your #1 priority is to show the surfer the page, then you can use an additional connection to track him.
And I must say, I fail to see the importance of tracking someone that didn't load the page to begin with.
