Yes Twisty's is solid and I can see Shap paying out of pocket to cover this issue if he has to. However getting a recommendation from you is more damage then good considering your in bed with some of the biggest pieces of shit in our industry.

Hi Guys. I was moving yesterday and this is my first chance to address this. So here I go in point form (to make it easier and quicker to read)
- There is no need for anyone to apologize for the thread. I'm actually glad this was brought up because we didn't even know about it. Paying our affiliates on time and hassle free is very important to us. - Everyone will be paid and compensated for any costs incurred. All they have to do is contact us and we will make it right. - As Mpahlca said both him and I were (and still are) affiliates and we understand the importance of being paid and what a pain in the ass it is to get a bank fee when you did nothing wrong. Nobody but us will lose on this. - We made the decision to use Webmaster Checks and any problems and costs associated with that will be handled by us. It's our business relationship That's about it. If you have any other questions feel free to post them here but I encourage you to contact us (affiliates at twistys or mrshap at twistys dot com) and we'll help you out. I'm going to talk to Mpahlca and see what type of promo we can throw together so affiliates not only don't lose a dime but even benefit from this situation ![]() |

I don't think there's a problem with an affiliate bringing something like this to the board. If the company is straight up everyone can see them step to the plate and resolve the issues and IMHO it really becomes an opportunity to be a positive reflection of how a company operates / does business. Anyone can see there were reps in here on pg 1 addressing the issue, and to clairfy the situation for everyone Shap had a professional breakdown of the issue and how the company plans to address it on pg 2. It doesn't matter how big or small a company is, shit befalls us all. It's how you handle it that leaves its mark. |

![]() got an email today from clockwork cash about checks that said: If you've received check payouts from WebmasterChecks and have not deposited them, please hold onto them until further notice. The checks are likely to be returned at the moment. WebmasterChecks are working to resolve this issue and as soon as it's cleared up and we are notified checks will clear we'll notify you. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

If I write a check and it's no good if the bank wants to charge me an overdraft fee or if it bounces and they want to charge me an NSF fee, fine. But if I deposit a check and the check bounces I don't think banks should charge the depositor, yet they do.
It's been a long time since I've had a depositied check bounce (knock on wood), but I want to say my bank knocks me back like $25-$35 a pop. Personally, I think it's bullshit, you get left holding the bag not only by the author of the check but also stuck with bank fees to boot. I'm not so naive I don't know why they do it, banks are a business too, but it doesn't mean that I don't think it's bullshit. ![]() |

You are making the stupid assumption that the bank that the check was drawn on is the same as it was deposited to. Why should bank B take the hit just because bank A got paid for their portion of the transaction?

What exact hit is Bank B taking? And why does bank B need to make the same off of the failed transaction as Bank A? They dont, but since they make a large portion of their profit on fees they like to add them on whenever they can. In this case screwing over the person who was the victim in the first place. |

I wish. Many sponsors have a $30-$45 fee for wire transfers, then some banks have an incoming wire fee. And on top of that some banks even have ridiculous high fees for the intermediary banks. I hate that intermediary bank crap! |
