PSD => XHTML Conversions Needed.

Looking for someone who does high quality, Strict XHTML / CSS PSD conversions.

I am going to have some work coming up and I need someone who is reliable and does quality work. Could turn in to a steady gig for the right person.

254694227 - ICQ. Leave name and post title in ICQ message.

Thanks.

PSD is a graphic format.
XHTML is coded hypertext.
They are two different things.

There's no "conversion" from PSD to XHTML / CSS.
But you can build a new XHTML / CSS file(s) from a sliced & exported PSD.

Best of luck to you.

Hit up Prezzz (3117950). He can do this, and is fairly inexpensive since he's from Poland.

I have used him for some time now on tube and other site builds.

Good luck sire.

Obviously Dude! ...... Maybe I should have been more clear for those who don't understand what I was getting at. I figured since this is a webmaster forum, with actual "webmasters", the point of the post was clear enough....

Take a .PSD (Photoshop Graphic Format File) and Slice it up to HTML / CSS No-Tables.

Well, a 'conversion' implies that you're somehow recoding one format to another. But that's not the case. The output of the PSD is used within the XHTML, not transformed into it. So you're looking for a custom XHTML page build, not a conversion. I believe there are people that will misunderstand and then spend half the day looking for software to convert PSDs, as I've seen happen on other forums.

So just consider it a public service announcement.

Ok fair enough, Mr. Wizard. For the people who don't understand what I am looking for in the post, this wouldn't be the right gig for you.

Hey, don't get pissed off about it dude. Use the correct brief of the project instead of some term you think is acceptable, which by the way short-changes designers & coders. You consider it a simple 'conversion', while we who do the actual work consider it a custom project. The 'conversion' you imply is but one step in the design process.

If I may ask, why didn't the designer that created the PSD finish the job?

I'm with Amp on this, a conversion is a simple click and drag. PSD to CSS/XHTML is a multi-step process that is never the same twice.

For the record, I am completely aware of what it the process is to execute a website full life cycle. I do it daily. From time to time I get totally swamped doing the whole show and recently I have picked up a ton of work as well as my personal ventures, So I was thinking about getting some front end development help for the grunt work. You ARE right, I should have spelled it out more clearly for everyone to be on the same page, language wise. I am bad about that. Not butt hurt in the least, just poking fun at the way you answered the post in the first place. I just figured the language was sufficient enough to get the point across.

I do however, thank you for the bumps on the thread. For those who have responded, I will be in touch with you soon. Thank you for your interest.
