Last week the GFY Power That Be hit me up and asked me to stop by and get the forum fired up. I was promised some 'special favors' in return. I'm not one to pass up free shit

So I came back and went on a thread posting spree this week. Hopefully you enjoyed it.

Now that I've hit my quota, and fulfilled my end of the deal, it's time for me to retreat back to the Shap Cave. See you all in a few months

The idea for my threads came from Twitter actually. I've been playing around trying to get a feel for Twitter. It's really neat. You can have some great conversations with complete strangers. The problem is the conversation is usually very general and never specific to say the business I'm in. So I thought why not try the Twitter approach on GFY. Start with short to the point posts to start a discussion.

I have to say I'm impressed. I used Thread Titles that were a little dramatic but for the most part it sparked good conversation and positive discussion. I'll try to continue it

i gave up trying to help people for the most part. gfy becomes more and more of a general population cell block every week as the industry agitates into what it is becoming. people spitting on each other, throwing feces, stealing food from each other, backstabbing, fighting, racial tension, and the occasional make up cry it out. the only redeeming feel good moment is when you get to release something and drop your marketing threads. i gauge the success of mine based on how many negative comments are posted. the more negative comments posted, the better the score. it's gotten to where if people didn't throw their excrement at something, you start to think that something is wrong.

don't stop posting though. i read your stuff. one of the few still left that i do.

I knew all along that was what had happened, it was odd to see you pop up out of no where and rattle off a bunch of business related threads, almost as if you were trying to think of subjects to come up with. All about the same time this site hadn't had a business thread on it in weeks.

So now that you leave, and there are no other business threads pooping up I guess it goes back to business (or lack of) as usual around here.
