Designers, artists, and publishers all helped Apple get off the ground early on. Why? Because of Adobe products like Photoshop and Illustrator.

Apple would have never become so big without Adobe, and in return Mac turns around and stabs Adobe in the back by badmouthing and rejecting Flash.

What confuses me is why, if Flash doesn't like to run on mac, Apple didn't reach out to Adobe and work with them to get Flash running flawlessly on OS X?

html5 is at least 2 years away from implementation and years more before being a standard. 2 Internet years is equal to, what, 7 dog years? Flash is going to be around for a long time and it has nothing to do with a MAC, it has everything to do with the browser and the plug in.
Besides Jobs time is running out. He'll be gone soon and you can bet the management that takes over is going to open Apple right up. You'll get your iPad at Wal-Mart before Jobs body is cold. The stockholders will want profits not attitude.
