Another CHARGEBACK... how often? [RANT]
Got another chargeback at a sponsor I won't name now, so I wonder how often you normally see chargebacks/deductions and whether this is shady..
Here's the plot: I have a network of blogs on my domains' subdomains, maybe 50-60 blogs, all handwritten, but haven't been updated now for around a year (I got sidetracked and those sites are on slowly going to die). They get very low traffic (80% google, a good part is probably image search which I know is shit so I redirected that, and 20% from my other blogs and blog directories). To this particular sponsor, they've been sending (declining curve) from 130 to 75-80 uniques per day (yes, low, said so), over the last two years. So far, after 40550 uniques and 358 join attempts (I guess personal information submits, then declined & redirected), I got 5 signups, and 3 of those charged back. This is in 2-3-4 month gaps, no consecutive sales within 1 day etc. Some of their paysites are of the $35-45 per FREE signup sort.. Does this sound normal at all? |

Based on join attempts, I'd think you should have at minimum 35 sales based on those numbers ... not just 5 with 3 charge backs on blogs.

It's not normal but your numbers are so low you are not going to get any meaningful averages.
You need a larger sample size. |

With your lack of traffic, it's really hard to say. If you had solid traffic, it'd be much easier to make a statement, but as it is, 3/5 charging back could be a shitty sponsor, or a shitty surfer pool.
