I remember using Arles from digital-dutch back in 2005...

You could get like 12 pics in a folder, then repeat that 12 times, and put those folders in another folder, then run the prog, and it would not only create simple gallerys for each folder, but it would also create another page that linked to all the folders, (a master index if you like)

I know you could tell it the colour, style, button graphics to use etc, and it just did it. Then you uploaded and were good to go...

Dead simple, with simple results, but all done automatically... And if you wanted to add another folder of pics at a later date, you could just add a folder into the master folder, run the program again, and it would add your new gallery into the mix...

So my question is, is there a better program for this these days than Arles that I dont know about? Perhaps more search engine friendly, ie automatically renaming the pics as [Name of folder - Pic Number] sort of thing?

I don't mind paying, but I want something relatively straight forward. Its only for some free sample stuff... Its not something thats going to be used to create gallery's for submission or anything...

I know I can tweak them once they are created in dreamweaver, but I dont really want to go through them all each time, and change stuff by hand, if I can get it right the first time, via the program... So looking for the most up to date program to do the initial build, and get the most stuff done by itself.

I may well just get the most recent version of Arles anyway, because I'm familiar with it... But before I do... Any suggestions?
