:mad Deer Attacks Pets

It's pitiful how domesticated cats and dogs fare with animals, and it's even more pitiful that their masters were more interested in shooting the incident than saving their pets.

If I was nearby I'd bonk the head of the woman shooting. An animal is being harmed and she's just sitting there, doing nothing.

The dog never should have been within 100 feet of that deer. and the owner should have paid that price.

Besides keeping the dog away, what could the owner have done? My guess is they did not own a gun.

That was one ballsy fucking cat.

I've also never seen a deer attack anything so that was pretty interesting to watch from that angle - but pretty sad that the dog probably died from that attack.

Filming a cat playing around with a baby deer - funny, keep filming.

Hell the whole thing was pretty amusing up until the part where the deer went after the dog. Not in a "I know what's going to happen next" way but that a cat has that kind of balls to play with a baby deer then kept bugging it after the bigger one came by. Cats are funny like that... but the dog? I don't know if it was barking (couldn't hear it) or growling or what... might have just been intimidated by a larger animal as it pretty much ignored the cat until it swat at it.

Pretty pathetic they just sat there filming it and let that cat and dog get so close. I would have walked right the fuck up to those things and grabbed my cat if she got anywhere near wild animals, even the baby. Not that I have massive balls of steel but my 270lb 6'5" ass is better off against a deer than a 10 pound cat that you could kill with one solid blow.

I know myself from other situations.... I would have charged the deer, even with bare hands, as soon as it started attacking my dog. It might have messed me up too.... but at least it would have taken it's attention off of my dog.

But then again, I'm not very bright sometimes....

I feel bad for every animal in the video, including the deer. I feel sorry for the jerkoff that owns the dog.

I agree with sperbonzo. If that was my dog, I probably would have done something stupid that would leave hoof marks on my head and neck region. But my dog wouldn't be hanging out in the fucking street anyway. Who the fuck let's their dog run around like that?

if I, as a mother, see a big dog coming towards my defenseless baby, I sure as heck would attack that dog and keep it away from my son.
I have 2 dogs and love them dearly, but in this case, I have to agree with mommy deer.

Why the fuck do stupid women start to scream in every situation?

do they somehow think that by screaming at the top of their lungs it is going to help anything?

if anything she is pissing everyone off more including the deer.

if that was my wife and or girlfriend i would have thrown her stupid ass first into the deer.

Deer was just defending her young. Deer should have gotten the woman filming. Her pet paid the price for her stupidity.
I can only hope she tries that shit with a grizzly and her cubs

I believe the dog is not her dog ( the person filming )

Anyone trying to intervene would likely suffer the same fate as the dog did.

The dog should never have been wandering around the area anyways.

The cat intrigues me though. What was he doing ? was he trying to eat the baby deer or protect it

Why were the deer there to begin with? That's a neighborhood and not somewhere out in the woods. The dog and cat have every right to be there because it's their neighborhood where most cats and dogs run free. They shouldn't but many do. Why are people criticizing the dog? First thing I thought was why are those deer in that neighborhood. That dog could have very easily have been a child that could have been killed. Would you be criticizing a dead child??

suburban sprawl has left animals like this deer homeless.

no we would have criticized the stupid parent for having the kid out.

the dog and cat do not have "every right to be there" if they shouldnt be there. that makes 0 sense.

three on one..sure..maybe but your dogs might not even be able to get close without taking a hoof to the face.

Yeah it would take multiple for sure. Dogs work well together and in the wild are always found in packs. That's why bears are naturally afraid of dogs.

Once my male and one of the females got out the back gate in Costa Rica when my gardener didn't close the gate properly. I got a frantic call from the neighbor screaming about her goat. Sure enough I go out back and the two dogs have this goat trapped in between them. One distracts from the front and the other sneaks around the back. Naturally I called them back right away and put an end to it so no damage was done, but it was quite a site. I was actually worried that the goat my gore one of them it had nasty looking horns.

that is crazy though i can image if the owner would have tried attacking the deer to get it off the dog someone else would have been filming that and then there woud be people pissed the guy was beating the deer with a stick or what ever he would have used lol

you think the owner would just try and draws the deers attention away from the dog so it could get away...

well, i don't know what my dog would of done, he can be a cupcake, but he's a Bulldog and pretty tough and strong, but only aggressive when he wants to be or provoked. But looking over this situation, and if that deer started stomping on my dog? I would have stomped on the fucking baby.

You are one dumb motherfucker, aren't you? That neighborhood was built in the deer's natural habitat. The deer is just being a fucking deer. The cat and dog are somebodies pets that should be contained somewhere. And if somebody let their kids play with a baby deer, I would assume they are related to your retarded ass. You stupid cunt.
