Not real interested in what any of us think about the reasoning behind it. Fact is, he campaigned on these kinds of things...you know real CHANGE. I voted for him on that basis. He SOUNDED like somebody who made common sense and was going to actually do something. When you campaign on some big issues like that and then turn around and do a bail out for banks and pretend that health care was your major issue during the campaign...that's just lying. In hindsight he appears to have been a terrific campaigner, a complete non-starter on "change", and a below average leader.  Of course, I voted for Bush too. So I'm 2 for 2 now.  |
