These stand toilets are in a lot of countries public bathrooms...Italy has had them for years, Mexico, Spain, Singapore, Vietnam...these are just the countries I've been to that have had them.

Most of you doesn't know much about the world. I have seen these ones in Germany, Italy, Spain. Most rail stations in Europe has Turkish toilets.
"Asian squat toilets" are far more hygienic than ours. Skin doesn't touch surface of toilets and in public environments this is better.

I've visited Italy probably a dozen times since I was 6. They're not common, but I've come across them. Once in an ice cream store of all places.

Ironically I've seen them more in Northern Italy (more modern & westernized) than Sicily (less modernized).

And they are not fun to use. I don't understand how anyone would prefer them over a modern toilet.
