Of course smokers have lower IQ's. It's public information and has been for 40+ years that smoking causes lung cancer, emphysema, etc. You'd have to be a complete and total dunce to smoke in the first place.

People that are smart listen to facts and knowledge and know not to smoke for fear of their well being. It takes a scientific study to figure this out?

There is one thing that's worse.... people who whine & bitch about 2nd-hand smoke all the time. Smoking has already been banished to the outdoors, so if you don't like 2nd-hand smoke, don't stand in the designated smoking areas. there is a lot of things you can die from. sure, smoking is bad for you but there are carsinogins in alcohol, perscription meds, all sorts of things. just eating burned meat could give you cancer. hell drinking bad tap water can give you cancer. lots of people drink coffee as their daily crutch but you can get stomach cancer from that too.

Exactly my point, so you eliminate everything you can control in order to give yourself the best health and longest life possible. Also, the deaths related to all of your comparisons don't add up to even 1% of those related to smoking.

The "I don't give a fuck" or "we've all gotta die sometime" excuse is just an easy way for smokers to justify their actions now to themselves, but you won't find them saying any of that when it starts to severely impact their quality of life, by then its usually too late to change the damage.

My grandchildren won't be visiting, now or later. One kid is busy with life and I only hear from him about once a year. 2 other kids are estranged from me and my youngest daughter is dead.
