I stole a Harley today !

2006 Road King:

10,087 miles, showroom condition, 7 yr. extended warranty, Screaming Eagle exhaust, Performance fuel injection module, cruse, upgraded seats, etc ... $9,000.00 bucks!

And I thought Craigslist was only for finding hookers.

I'll be hitting the road road tomorrow night. Plan on riding for about a week .......

The guy I bought it from had it listed in a cycle magazine and the newspaper and got zero calls. Lowered the price to 12,500 on craigslist and I was the only one to look at it. Dumbass actually told me that. So I offered 9,000, he turned me down but called today after another weekend with no one interested.

Hard to believe.

Nope.

(cop bikes have knobs on the top of saddle bags instead of side clips so they can be accessed easier with ballistic gloves on)

Yea I know, the guy I bought it from was a bolt on guy. It also has blue neon lights that I was to embarrassed to mention.

Haha, that's the first thing I'm doing tomorrow.

To hard to ride in the rain without one also bugs at 70 mph hurt like hell.

Great deal, Congrats Years ago this was'nt the same story , they used to hold their value.

I would buy one for apx 15k, ride it for 2 -3 yrs and get close, real close to what I paid for it new.

That was'nt a trade in, it was resale. They just kept on pushing the product, in the name of competition till they totally fucked up the resale value of it.

years ago, they were selling above msrp, a waiting list, the ecomony wasn't in the cellar and credit was available, etc.

what is your point? i know guys at 26 going through a mid life crisis. they are going bald, girlfriend soon to be wife is getting fat, not liking their job. it has nothing to do with age.

if you drive a harley you at some point in your life had a mid life crisis.

harleys are normally owned by your average joe loser who is tired of drinking beer on the couch, probably watched to much james dean and leather flicks. and somehow thinks by having a harley they will look cool.

i see it all the time 35yo+ scruffy losers with loud pipes driving around downtown. there is better ways of getting attentio then driving a bulky rust bucket that is a harley.

but let me guess the have "history" so you like them.

look at the guys who drive it. i wont mention names.

if you drive a harley you at some point in your life had a mid life crisis.

harleys are normally owned by your average joe loser who is tired of drinking beer on the couch, probably watched to much james dean and leather flicks. and somehow thinks by having a harley they will look cool.

i see it all the time 35yo+ scruffy losers with loud pipes driving around downtown. there is better ways of getting attentio then driving a bulky rust bucket that is a harley.

but let me guess the have "history" so you like them.

look at the guys who drive it. i wont mention names.

Yup, he nailed it.
So am I, I've been riding Harleys and Rice Rockets for the last 25 years. I guess I'm with you L-Pink.

We should take our Fat wives/Girlfriends to the bar and talk about how bad midlife crises has hit us. This is depressing. Lets go now.
