If you are an Epassporte account holder and you have significant funds (10,000$ or more) locked on your virtual visa because of this situation you *can* have these funds wire transfered to your personal bank account (assuming you have one on file, and are willing to provide a scan of your photo ID).

At this moment I do not believe this information has been released to the public so I will not leak any personal contact that was used to accomplish this… However I can tell the users a few things

1: The dispute over the funds was started by St. Kitts (not Visa), St. Kitts does have all of the funds however Epassporte does “have” limited access to them.

2. None of the funds are lost or unaccounted for, however it just takes a lot of paperwork to access them. (This is why the option is not being offered to all Epassporte Users)

3: Email support or the given phone line will tell you that you are only able to wire xfer funds stored in your E-Wallet, this is not the case. If you look hard enough hopefully you’ll find the same person I did."

He may be right, though. Almost everyone stopped payments via epassporte and switched to checks, wires, other payments systems, etc. That means money are not going into epass, they are only going out. I would like to give them a benefit of a doubt, but if they do not resolve this by end of this month - there will be almost no chance they recover from this ever. May be they will still return some money to some people, but it will be a matter of pure luck if you get them or not.

I doubt that VISA can have that kind of authority at all. If the money are frozen they are frozen by the bank, not by VISA. VISA can only block cards processing via their network.

it will be a race between how long they can go without revenue and becoming operational again.

you all forget epass is a business with expenses as well. how long can you go without revenue? one month? six months?

i want epass back as soon as possible, but just because i can see some negative outcomes doesn't mean i am jinxing it like some superstitous bullshit. why don't you as paul the octopus when thinks will be back to normal.

Obviously you did not read the entire topic. Considering it's size I cannot blame you.

From one hand - accepting payments and using epass in any other way can help them survive. But from another hand - if I were you I would not touch epass with 10 feet stick until there is at least one person who cannot get money from it. And for the moment there is a LOT of people whose wire requests placed 2 weeks ago have not been even processed yet.
