404 redirect, How to??

I got a domain name that gets over 200 unique type ins a day. I now want to redirect most of them to a affiliate product. I wonder how.

I understand that most of them don't type in domain.com. Instead they may type dfdf.domain.com.

So I want a 404 redirect, right? How do I do it.

Your registrar doesn't offer domain forwarding?

create a new text file, name it ".htaccess"
enter the following:

ErrorDocument 404 URL_YOU_WANT_THEM_TO_GO_TO

Why not make a 404 page?

Make a page an add it to your server under the name 404.shtml

If you want more info, hit me up on icq... See sig.

I believe you have to have wildcard subdomains enabled as well. If you have cpanel add subdomain named "*".
