:mad The Truth and What Really Matters....Or, How not to be a total, fucking tool.

The Truth and What Really Matters....Or, How not to be a tool.

This is about how webmasters are being used as tools and played for fools.

Consider the following:

179,630 names submitted at an estimated cost of $60 each is $10,777,800.00 being removed from our businesses and pocketed by ICM without any guaranteed new customers for any adult business. Do you hear that giant sucking sound????? That is the money being removed from your wallets because this money represents your existing profits. Your cost of doing business is not going to be reduced by one red cent. THIS IS WHY YOUR COMMENTS ARE SO IMPORTANT AT THIS TIME.

If the FSC's arguments contained in our letter to ICANN on 9/8/2010 are " a variety of erroneous statements are repeated accusations that have been debated and refuted several times" and FSC's "claims were inaccurate, unsupportable, untimely, and irrelevant when first made, and remain so today," then why did ICM bother to respond as quickly as it did? The truth is that FSC's requests are to the point, timely, and show the weak link in ICM's claims. Every comment submitted in support of FSC and against ICM is another chink in ICM's claims. THIS IS WHY YOUR COMMENTS ARE SO IMPORTANT AT THIS TIME.

If the deal was a done deal and there was to be no more consideration from the public, why would ICANN request 30 days of public input? The TRUTH is they are still considering whether ICM currently has the support that they alleged in their application for the sTLD. THE TRUTH IS THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE SUPPORT OF THE SPONSORED COMMUNITY AND YOUR COMMENTS IN SUPPORT OF FSC AND OPPOSING ICM DEMONSTRATE THAT LACK OF SUPPORT. THIS IS WHY YOUR COMMENTS ARE SO IMPORTANT AT THIS TIME.

ICM's claim that Adult Webmasters need for more information concerning the ".XXX TLD, ICM Registry, or IFFOR is patently absurd" illustrates his total lack of respect for our request for full transparency of the process. Do you really think ICM will be more transparent when they are in total control? This is what the FSC asked for:

1. The list of the IFFOR Board members;
2. The list of proposed members of the Policy Council;
3. IFFOR?s Business Plan/Financials;
4. Business Plan/Financials Years 1-5 utilizing 125,000 Initial Registrations;
5. The list of .XXX sTLD pre-registrants who have been identified to ICANN;
6. ICM?s Proof of Sponsorship Community Support as submitted to ICANN.

HELL, ICM won't even tell us who has been chosen to sit on IFFOR, the body that will be setting the policies and procedures that we will have to live by. I'd be afraid, very afraid. THIS IS WHY YOUR COMMENTS ARE SO IMPORTANT AT THIS TIME.

Friday, I received an email from ICM requesting my support for ICM position. I feel sure that anyone who registered a domain with ICM received a similar email. Again, if the comments of the sponsored community are irrelevant, why did ICM send emails to everybody they could? Because, the deal isn't done and ICM's contract is not nailed down. The fat lady hasn't sung. ICM is trying to hustle support for his application and he knows how important the sponsored community's support is to the success of his pending application.

ICM is using the oldest trick in the political book on the adult community....if you say something false loud enough, if you repeat it enough times, if you get your supporters to repeat what you are saying and stay on topic......you can get people to believe it is true. ?I am not a crook?, "There are the weapons of mass destruction", "Mission accomplished", etc. This tactic has been used to wear down the adult community's enthusiasm for fighting this issue. ICM's message that it is a done deal is a classic example of such a tactic. If you fall for the bullshit, your resistance is weakened and you can be manipulated for ICM's gain. The end goal is to dishearten our community to the point that you feel it is useless to respond and they can win by default. THIS IS WHY YOUR COMMENTS ARE SO IMPORTANT AT THIS TIME.

I could go on and on......but; the TRUTH is that this is the final round of comments and you need to find the strength and resolution within yourselves to post your comments one more time. I'd suggest you copy and paste your old comments, my comments, or FSC's comments into the email and sent it.

It will take you less than 5 minutes. Is your five minutes worth $10 million dollars? It is to ICM if they can stop you from sending that message. Just think about it.

Dear ICANN,

I am a member of the .XXX sTLD sponsored community. I do not support ICM's application for the .XXX sTLD.

I request that ICANN does the following:
1. Verify that companies which ICM has listed in support are viable adult businesses,
2. Verify that companies listed in support in fact do support ICM?s current application for a .XXX sTLD,
3. Determine how many pre-registrations claimed by ICM are in fact defensive registrations,
4. Determine how many pre-registrations are registrars or companies hoping to re-sell domain names.

Additionally, I also request the following information also be released as requested in the DIDP from the FSC:
1. The list of the IFFOR Board members;
2. The list of proposed members of the Policy Council;
3. IFFOR?s Business Plan/Financials;
4. Business Plan/Financials Years 1-5 utilizing 125,000 Initial Registrations;
5. The list of .XXX sTLD pre-registrants who have been identified to ICANN;
6. ICM?s Proof of Sponsorship Community Support as submitted to ICANN.

The direct link to ICM's response to the FSC letter is broken. Please click on the link below and then open the attached pdf file to read the letter.
