decreasing chance?? WTF is that with 'multi million dollars issue'.

Seriously, why we need to care what the issue is?? We didn't create it and we want this to resolve as quickly as possible. Do you think 3 weeks is no time??

If you stay silent, what it proves? It only proves that you guys are wrong somewhere yourself or otherwise there is no way you'll be silent.

In your statement, you said you are doing lots of meetings with the bank? Why?? You are faulty somewhere and you are just hiding the truth from your customers.

Why don't you come out and say what happened?

Yes, you are right that If you were running away, you won't to ACH, Wires etc... but what about the VV money? I'm still optimistic about the situation but as the days are passing by, my hope is decreasing.

Everything has to be a time frame or your are not serious about the biz. Do you think we'll all keep waiting for you guys for years? Delay the resolution to a one or two more weeks, you'll be replaced by someone else. Its nature and everybody has to move on!

P.S. where is this week's update?

Do you guys realize that if these people open their mouths and even mis-phrase a sentence about the issue at hand that it could create legal problems between the parties involved?

Yeah I know we all need updates but damn, doesn't seem like one person that's whined so far understands the complexity and risk of giving out much/any information on an issue that DOES involve (what I assume) to be probably over $10 million dollars. That's why you haven't seen me post one reply to any thread bitching like a baby about something I know isn't going to change, no matter how bad I want it to.

Just the fact that ACH, wires, and CC transfers going out is enough to let me know that they have every intention of getting business back to usual as soon as humanly possible. Shit takes time though. It's not a light switch that turns on and off.

What I'd like to hear is if they don't "resolve" the issue by let's say Monday, they will then be sending us our money. That would be a nice update.

They haven't said jack shit about getting us our money. Only that it is "safe."

What's the timeline on the breakdown?? It has been several days, don't tell me they are still trying to work it out with the bank, this many days later that sounds like bs.

When will we get our vv money???

Yeah it's really fucked up. This isn't even like sales getting charged back. This is OUR MONEY we got paid from other people, NOT epassporte's money, NOT the bank's money, NOT visa's money. I'm getting TAXED on this money! And these fuckers are going to keep it?

This is shadier than any billing processor going down, this is down right fucking theft.

Glad I only have a few hundred in there, which still sucks, but I'd be calling the authorities by now if it was in the thousands. Call the fucking cops report theft.

Sorry, this is not acceptable ? your silence about monies entrusted to ePassporte, supposedly acting in a fiduciary capacity, money that is "inaccessible," is necessary.

This is asinine.

can someone from epass tell us how much money is stalled on the visa's. A ballpark number will be ok.

There is over a million alone between the handful of people I have asked how much have stuck in there. I suspect there could be tens of millions in there.

Probably in reference to all the people flooding the phones of the bank that froze the account.

for gods sake don't you think when there is news they will report it??? crying and making all these threads will not speed up anything, just create more stress and chaos.

I have 4k lost and it sucks but damn, let them do their thing... if it comes back great , if not then that's life

if losing what is on your card is so devastating to you then maybe you need a real job or just learn from it and next time don't leave so much money on a card

the amount of these threads asking same question again and again and again is insane. you can be sure when there is news you will know... not one second sooner

ePassporte is an "offshore" operation so what do they care ... I don't think they're too concerned about legal problems, but rather the outrage of many who have money stuck "in motion".

Either ePassporte has the money or they don't ... at the moment, it appears they don't or otherwise everyone would have been paid via wire, check, or whatever. Not all this nonsense about "funds are in motion".

That's "wallet" money, which appears to be governed by different rules and is kept in a different bank.

Read up on the iBill saga, and various affiliate program failures - in many of those instances, some got fully paid all the way up to the end, while some got partially paid, and many got nothing ... point is that just because some are getting paid doesn't mean everyone will.

As to why a service that appears to be failing would pay at all ... combination of wishful thinking, helping the "bros" / insiders, and to string people out.

Ron

i suspect the amount frozen is about the same as chris mallick spent of "his own money" on the movie he released.

Don't know if there is a connection there but i would suspect the amounts are fairly close.

the money is supposed to be trusted with VISA, either way thats like saying , dont bitch because your bank went under , theres lots of banks. I could care less if i have 9000 banks, if one of them has MY MONEY , i am going to bitch.

If your house got robbed, i suppose you would never bitch because you should know better than to leave that much stuff in one house ?

Do we ? NO

It is better to stay silent because obviously they need new investors to bail them out of a serious lack of money.

Bad press is going to reduce the chances of investors being willing to infuse them with capital.

Michal O,

You will probably ignore this one as well, but here goes:

Quote:

So the money is not only "in motion" but at the mercy of whoever it is your company has problems with? That's quite contradictory to the previous statement saying "Your money is safe". Would you care to elaborate on that a bit more?

Did it ever occur to you that even if this gets resolved, the "silence" has killed off your user's trust and your company will go belly up regardless of the outcome because of this?

Silence is only an option when there is something to hide. If it's all on the up and up the short answer to your question is NO! so speak up if you can.

Quote:
If ePassporte were running with your money do you think we would do Original Credits, ACHs and wires?
This is not about running with the cash, this is about updating your clients on the current situation, which has nothing to do with ACH and/or wires. Don't try to be clever and change the subject. The questions you were asked were straight and deserve straight answers.

Quote:
Thats all I have to say to you about this to you.
Then you are not doing your job period. A rep ignoring valid questions from the users is either not suited for the job, or the company who instructed the rep is shady at best, and again makes me repeat what I stated when Epass was launched. Not to be trusted won't touch it with a 10ft stick! I didn't and look who's smiling now?
This being said which of the two is it? Are you a lousy rep or are you a decent rep working for a shady company?

Maybe he is following instructions from legal professionals who instruct him on what updates to give and what to keep silent, because people LOVE to pick apart everyone's words, like you've done, people love to kill the messenger, as you're trying to do, and people love to nit pick at the tiniest things and make the biggest fusses out of them.

You don't see the guys with tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars caught up in this mess crying loudest. I bet half of the whining babies in these threads barely have $500 in their locked VV side of epass. But they cry the loudest.

You're warned when you open the account that if you keep all your money over on the VV side, it could be compromised when someone steals your card. Do you heed that caution? Fuck no, or else you wouldn't be crying.

I played my card right, kept no more then $300 on the VV side, and I have a whopping $37 stuck over there. I'm happy I was able to do the ACH transfers I did to get all the rest of my money out of there, which is a couple thousand dollars.

If you get bit by the fucking snake hiding in the grass because you ignored the giant signs saying "You risk harm if you walk in this grass", that's YOUR fault, not anyone else's.

I'm done here, I wont keep feeding the trolls...

Edited to Add:

To Ron Bennett: They're paying out to keep your so-called "bro's" happy? I'm nowhere near a fucking "bro" but I've gotten all my money out of my account except whats locked in VV. So, bam, there goes that stupid-ass theory too

Which would fall under the shady company part of my post. I don't love to pick apart posts, but do grow annoyed at the sheer ignoring of all clients asking the questions. At least have the common decency to post I am sorry but I am not at liberty to talk about that. At least in that case you are acknowledging the question and its legitimacy. This type of arrogance is going to be the death of Epass in the end, whether they solve this mess or not IMO.

You don't see the guys with tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars caught up in this mess crying loudest. I bet half of the whining babies in these threads barely have $500 in their locked VV side of epass. But they cry the loudest.
Actually I did see them, and I know of more not on this board who now have taken their business elsewhere. You don't see them crying because they have the power to strike and can wait it out in legal procedures if needed, unlike the small fish who need their cash. However, I fail to see what it has to do with my reply to Micheal O's statement. As far as I am concerned it is just as bad to ignore a small player then to do so with a large client. Their questions are the same and equally valid.

You're warned when you open the account that if you keep all your money over on the VV side, it could be compromised when someone steals your card. Do you heed that caution? Fuck no, or else you wouldn't be crying.
Totally besides the point, re-read my reply.

I played my card right, kept no more then $300 on the VV side, and I have a whopping $37 stuck over there. I'm happy I was able to do the ACH transfers I did to get all the rest of my money out of there, which is a couple thousand dollars.
I played it better and didn't use them at all since they started. There! I have the biggest dick! On a serious note, it is not about who's at fault. I am not accusing Epass or its Rep of anything more then not doing their job in informing their clients. So again, your points may be valid but have no bearing on the subject at hand.

If you get bit by the fucking snake hiding in the grass because you ignored the giant signs saying "You risk harm if you walk in this grass", that's YOUR fault, not anyone else's.
True, but thats no excuse not to go after the snake now is it?
