Use MochiBot to keep track of your: * Flash game and animation popularity * Viral Flash marketing campaign effectiveness * Flash video, podcast, or video blog reach * Flash application usage and distribution What is it? MochiBot is a Flash traffic monitoring tool (similar to a hit counter) that tracks the performance of individual Flash content files (SWFs) no matter where they end up on the web. If your SWF is on 5 different servers, then MochiBot will count the number of views that SWF got for all 5 servers. It's perfect for tracking how viral your Flash content is. Here is a hypothetical scenario to help better explain what MochiBot does: Problem: Numa Numa was a Flash video/animation that started off on some kid's (Gary) website and soon became so wildly popular that it spread to hundreds of different websites. In the beginning Gary could see in his web traffic reports how many people were viewing his masterpiece. However, as his content became more popular, more people would copy the Numa Numa SWF from Gary's website and put it on their own websites. Once that SWF left Gary's server he was no longer able to see how many people actually viewed his work. Using traditional methods, he can only view the traffic reports for his website, not the hundreds of other websites hosting his video. Solution: If Gary had added MochiBot to his Flash video, then he would have been able to see exactly how many people viewed his work and the list of websites that have hosted his work. Just how popular was the Numa Numa video? Click here to see MochiBot is made up of just four lines of ActionScript code that sit harmlessly in your Flash content. Wherever that SWF goes, MochiBot will follow. This method ensures accurate traffic data no matter what website your SWF ends up on. MochiBot.com knows about each view of your SWF, and makes it available as simple and easy to understand reports that show you just how popular your Flash content is. How does it work? You simply copy and paste a few lines of ActionScript from MochiBot.com into your Flash file (FLA), and publish the SWF. Every time your Flash content is played, MochiBot sends a signal to our servers indicating where it is and that it's being played. MochiBot is completely unobtrusive, and will work with any type of Flash content: games, animations, banner ads, videos, or anything you can think up! The best part of all is that it has no effect on your content whatsoever. How does it work? It's totally free! Don't believe us? Just sign up and see. We like sharing so we'll always give away free accounts. In the future we plan on adding some premium services with more features and benefits for those of you who just can't get enough of MochiBot. https://www.mochibot.com |

Yes, it says all flash video. I suppose you would most likely have to do some reverse engineering in order to drop the code into whatever program or script you use to convert them... but it's a start and a head in the right direction
