We have smarties. I have no idea what that site is talking about unless they just don't have them in that region for some reason. Ariel Rebel and Andi Pink were shocked we didn't have ketchup chips down here and tried to indoctrinate me.

What are ketchup chips? Ketchup flavored potato chips? What is Coffee Crisp? I've never had either any time i've been in canada.

Ketchup chips are damn nasty. You either love them or hate them. Much like dill pickle flavoured chips. There are no fence-sitters.

bags of milk are nowhere near as weird as seeing bags of chicken blood in the fridge next to the fresh meat in some supermarkets in thailand! :S

Not that much to explain, it's the taste. Buy a plastic jug, like a 2l juice jug, and drink milk out of it for a week or two and then report back.

You will taste the difference.
Exactly ^^^^^^^^^^
We have everything here, bags, bottles and cartons. Bag are the cheapest and bottles and cartons are about the same price, i like the cartoons one, although im not a big fan of milk. BUT I'm defiantly not drinking milk that has been in an open bag and sitting like that in the fridge for more then a day. YUK.

Over the years I have had so many Canadians try to send me those. They feel the same way about them as my Oz/Nz contacts do about their Tim Tams.

In the uk we have Toffee Crisp..I wonder if they are just the same thing with a different name.

My parents still talk about when we went on vacation to Canada for the first time when I was like 6 and we discovered ketchup crisps.

Ketchup Chips are a huge market here, can't believe they aren't more popular elsewhere.

lol yup.. cheaper to get the 3bags then getting a 2litre carton. But I don't drink much of it so it would go to waste. SO went back to cartons. But milk in bags.. not weird at all. Have seen it since forever.

These are US Smarties:

Not so good. Ketchup Chips vary by region. Sometimes you can get them here, depends on where you are. A handful of companies make them, but they aren't really popular.

A cow does not have it's milk in a carton or jug, more like a bag. It's a more NATURAL thing ;)

That's the first time I've seen milk in a bag...it's kinda strange. However it seems like it might be smarter since there's less plastic or paper used and if it can be recycled then that's even better.

nobody is stating the obvious? Air tight re-seal ability.... People want to open an airtight container, smell the milk to make sure its still fresh, pour some, then close the airtight container so its lasts 3 times as long.... Bags?

I don't really have a dog in the milk fight, honestly I don't really buy milk unless I need it for a recipe. For drinking and cereal and such I use this-

Doesn't taste like the carton, doesn't ever spoil before I use it all.

I used to buy the silk unsweetened soy milk, but the almond milk is even better.

Living in London, I have several Australian friends that are based here and I used to date a guy from New Zealand. They all went on and on about Tim Tams until I let somebody bring some back for me. Tried them and they are pretty much exactly the same as penguin biscuits in the UK. However, if I try to tell them that it is like declaring war on the whole of Down Under.
