Do you trust PAXUM with your money?

If you do, please explain why.

If you don't, also please explain.

Please be very detailed and use references/proof for your claims if you can.

Thanks.

I do not.

I've explained my reasoning in countless threads and do not have it in me to do it one more time today. It's easy enough to find.

They're in the business for 5 days and have a bunch of no-name nicks telling everyone how great they are. Clear indicator that something is fishy.

Whats wrong with a public poll? People should be able to stand behind what they vote, shouldn't they? No need for anonymous voters here.

Epassporte wasn't 100% safe either, I don't think any alternative can be. None of the alternatives have yet estamblished great position.

The point is that if you can't take checks/wire, what you're going to choose? From this point of view I think they're "enough safe", because I believe they can make much more money by providing a working service, than running with people's pocket money. Also despite all this epass mess, I think overall more affiliates benefited from epass than lost from it. Don't use them as a bank, use as a way to transfer money.

There should be separate poll for people who can easily take checks/wire, than for people who actually need this kind of service.

since epass - I don't think I'll ever trust anybody ... I'll just use them as a mean to take the money out of the ATM, leaving in the account as little as possibly....

Aside from the obvious issues, I would be concerned about the stability of their technical infrastructure. One cannot simply pull a financial grade system out of thin air, which suggests they've partnered with a firm who has expertise in this area.

Anyone who intends to rely on them heavily should demand an answer to this issue and request a copy of their business continuity plan (which probably does not exist).

I voted no because...

-After epass, I've been on my "fuck a middleman" shit.. especially new ones that just popped up right after epass robbed(?) us. Like seriously, where the fuck did these people come from? You can't just wake up and make one of these companies just because you feel like it one day.

-Paxum lists companies on their sponsor list that don't actually use Paxum. Then the supposed owner and a goofy rep have 2 completely different excuses as to how that happens. Fuck outta here with that type of lying bullshit...

-Their office was a UPS P.O. box until somebody noticed... then they switched to a rent-an-office monthly solution right away. Looks like they did that just to shut people up. Either way, I'm not trusting my money with a company who doesn't even have a real location.

-Paxum is shrouded in secrecy. Who's the financial muscle behind these clowns? Who the fuck really owns this shit? Please let a nigga know...

-There's an army of fresh 2010 new-booty nicks doing nothing else but hyping Paxum up constantly... And random other nicks just blindly supporting them... before anybody could even really use them yet. Nobody even had a paxum card yet, but there was a mob of supporters? Seems like the company is using fake nicks and buying out post whores to make themselves out to be great. Or some people know more about these fuck-sticks than others and don;t want to let others in on it. The fuck kinda shit is that?

-Paxums bank offers no type of insurance whatsoever on depositors funds... at all. I know Paxum is not meant to be used as a fucking bank, but if I get a nice sized deposit and shit hits the fan before I have a chance to withdraw it I'm not going to want to hear any excuses.

There's more... but I just smoked a big fat L of some fine Appalachia grown buds... I'll be back

What a stupid fucking poll... I don't trust ANYONE... But that doesn't mean I'm not going to not use them and do so responsibly so I can get my hands on my money right away as opposed to waiting a couple months to get a check, wait for it to clear and just pray it doesn't bounce.

Every one of these companies, sponsors or whatever is going to fail or fold up sooner or later... If you think you're not going to lose money again in this business you're naive.

When it makes financial sense, then I'll take a wire.. If I can't, then I'll use emc2payouts.. If I can't, then I'll use Paxum or Payoneer.. If I can't, I'll make do with a check. It's fucking simple.

Nobody should truly trust any other person with their money, let alone a corporation. The only reason I trust my bank even is that it's federally insured. And if a couple of nukes land tomorrow, would that even matter?

But yeah, I may use them, it's just risk management like everything else.

People keep telling me they are owned by you know who. Considering how secret everything has been and who seems to be on their nuts the most, I'm starting to believe it. It makes perfect sense really.

Either way, they will conveniently go out of business later and take your money with them. Just a matter of when. Enjoy it while you can.

I'm no stranger to being suckered by a smooth talker, but guys listen, this company looks fishy as shit.. anyone ever hear of HYIP? It reminds me of the types of scams that run rampant in that "industry"... needless to say, there are many con artists out there looking to accumulate a shit ton of funds and run off... these guys could be some of those scammers from the hyip circuit that saw an opportunity to fuck adult companies out of their money. Be fucking careful.

I don't understand why so many people rip this company when they are willing to use a scam company like payscum (paypal) in the first place. Paypal is the reason why these other companies are coming out. Paypal has stolen more money from people then any other payment system. I don't use this company I just signed up to CashX and I'm still waiting for my account to be usable, so I don't know what's going on with that, I hate middle men payment systems also that's why I got my own merchant account.

If you live in the US and have a bank account, I can tell you who to go through for a merchant account and it's painless. And it's not Card Services btw.

Why pay other people money to take your money is beyond me.

If everyone was smart they would also close their paypal accounts before Meg Witeman becomes CA Governor and protects that company. That is the only reason why she's running for Gov, because she used to work for them, and god knows what influences they have over her already. She still owns ebay stock, and lots of it.

Once she becomes gov, she will allow paypal to operate in the manner it has for years. Pardons can be made lawsuits can be thrown out. Remember this if you plan on using payscum in the future, and remember it at the polls.

Its complicated question, first what is trust here? I have money in paypal. Do I trust them? Well maybe I trust them a little and maybe not. But I still have money there.
So I could vote NO here but that won't mean that I won't keep money here.
I think the poll options should be more complex

You obviously have no clue how much money goes through these companies. It is not pocket change. At any given time it can be tens of millions of dollars (or more), which is not pocket change and a hell of a lot more than they can make from fees in 50 or 100 years.

It is also easy to steal the money and have absolutely nothing happen to you. Ask iBill.

I have not even seen a hint to anything shady with paypal. I don't keep no money there my money passes through there. I click and pay someone and they charge my credit card. Wham Bam Thank you mam.

If people use a processor for what they are intended to be used for. And that is to get your money to you or for you to send to someone. Then these systems would have more trust because your money instantaneously passes through them and they only keep their fees.

But when people start using them as a bank and keep large amounts of $$ sitting in them in non interest bearing accounts then that's when the eyes of governments and such from around the world start taking interest.

I say use what ever company suits your needs. But use them to get your money to you and take it out of there asap. In this way you only have to trust in them for the time it takes your money to pass through.. Get Your money to a place you are in control of.

Maybe I am missing a point here someplace. But in my mind it seems kinda simple. Take a shit, wipe then get off the pot.
