They used to tell us X-Rays were safe and they were even used in shoe shops for measuring people's feet. Now they tell us that the Body Scanners that emit Terahertz are safe, even though they tear apart human DNA, but hey, those machines are getting someone very rich so best not look into the health time bomb.

Airport body scanners 'could give you cancer'
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/tr...ou-cancer.html

Full-body scanners used on air passengers may damage human DNA

Classic example has just happened this week

16 Oct 2010 France hit by new wave of mass pension protests
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-11559265

18 October 2010 France: Saudis warn of new al-Qaeda threat
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-11562598

This is how they try to control us, using an imaginary outside threat.

The biggest problem with the Backscatter, etc imaging machines is that they take WAY too fucking long to clear people. You have to stand there for 7 seconds while it takes an image, then if you have ANYTHING they are unsure about, they want to do a pat down. I was in a hurry on Saturday at LAX, so I went through one - did not have time to ask for alternate screening -- and I had to go to secondary for my watch -- which was clearly visible on my arm since I had on short sleeves. The person watching the monitor communicates to the agent the area that needs to be looked at -- in this case, my left wrist - and then you wait until they decide to check it. So instead of being through in 5 seconds and gathering my bags, it took about 20 seconds, of course while bags are piling up since they now go through faster than people with this system.

15 seconds may not sound like much, but you multiply that per person standing in the average security line and it's going to create a huge bottleneck that will cause nothing but problems for everyone.

this so called Pilot is a fucking pussy. And a looser. He's crying like a baby because he had to take his shoes off?

He works for a small airline that I've never heard of.

And the discussion about him being a pilot and not needing weapons to take down an aircraft down doesn't fly with me - What's to stop a terrorist from having a fucking pilot pass a weapon through security? Maybe he won't crash his airplane, but for $10k he might help out in other ways. Everyone passes through fucking security. Everyone, no exceptions.

This fucker needs to loose his pilot's license. I'm stunned that someone allowed to fly a fucking airplane is such a big cry baby over having to take off his fucking shoes.

rochard, you are on the rocks or something?
all airline employed (and most of all licensed pilots) have already been cleared through TSA through a threat assesment program (background check). Sure good eggs can go rotten but not very likely..

A passenger have a choice: go through the machine, fly private, drive or stay home..

I feel for this guy, he doesnt have a choice, either show your stuff or get fired..

The whole "Illuminati" "Bilderberg" "Terrorism" is all just pure image. You dont have to physically control people when you leave their minds trapped in fear.

Convince people that there is a problem/power that they cannot protect themselves against and then you can slowly strip away their freedoms.

you can even go around and projecting violence on society ie police brutality then you can ask people for their guns and beat them with it. because the more you project violence on society the more people are ok with it and the more you can use violence against them.

the entire world is a calculated pattern. you can choose to live outside of it.

that is why i got really into world history and the teachings of different societies. everything boils back to control. and you realize all societies are controlled by the same way. and that control is pure facade it only matters because people make/let it matter.

the greatest minds in the world realize you dont have to do things behind closed doors anymore. you do it right out in the open and you can make anything become a trend, no matter how violent or evil people will follow along.

exactly. so why can't he take his pilot skills to another company, or maybe even for himself. you know, buy a small plane, move somewhere relaxing, and fly like that? money? i guess the loss of privacy isn't really that important to him. this whole show was nothing more than empty posturing.

bureaucracy out of control, nothing more & nothing less. for this to be construed as a small group of people controlling another, larger group through fear with the goal being to strip away freedom doesn't understand the issues of complex social systems and assumes there's something of value for the one group of people to strip the other's freedoms away.

it's not a conspiracy.

of course there is value in it, that value being in control of things.

more aptly, it's not a conspiracy theory.

some of u are stupid.. he is the pilot of the damn airplane.. if he wanted to crash it, he could in 5mins.. upon takeoff he could just push the stick down and do a nose dive and say bye bye to everyone...

pilots dont need such strict screening.. its stupid.. if a pilot wanted to crash an airplane he'd just do it.. he doesnt need to smuggle a bomb on board

so *they* are controlling just for the sake of controlling? this worldwide group of *them* is behind the curtain orchestrating this control all the way down to the tsa rep?
hardly.

also, i didn't mention theory. this doesn't even meet the standard of theory.

the TSA rep is just a tool. He does like he's told, just like the police, just like the border patrol, just like the soldiers, just like the angry DMV lady. Orders don't come from the bottom, they come from the top.

that misses my point. i'm not saying the tsa rep gets a seat on the controlling group's spacecraft. i'm saying there's zero value in *them* creating fear by manipulating a tsa rep to enforce *their* control like this. the policy is a result of bureaucracy out of control.

as long as people think it's the other group's by design plan to control, we can't face and deal with the real issue: bureaucracy out of control.

Out of chaos comes order. Even if that chaos is manufactured. As long as people believe there is a threat "out there" (i.e. teh evil terrorists) they will willingly hand over their freedoms to any official entity. (i.e. government, the TSA, Homeland Security, etc.)

Security in exchange for privacy = neither.

the only part of this i disagree with is the manufactured chaos implication. there's simply no proof that this is a by design plan created by the leaders of some SPECTRE sort of outfit.

the plain and simple fact is that most all of us live in a society with rules that are in place to create a more harmonious society for everyone. sometimes those rules get bent out of shape, like a 55 mph speed limit or a tsa policy to xray pilots. just like government's answer for a fucked up government is more government<-- that's not by design

it's not an evil plot orchestrated at the highest level. it's fucked up bureacrats

Exactly. Every thought and image you see is carefully calculated.

When you step back for 2 seconds and realize your are just light energy you realize there is nothing to fear.

If people want to get religious God is light and we are light. So we only have ourselves to fear. Heaven and Hell do not exist they are both right here on earth. All shaped with our thoughts. either exist if we want them too, it is our choice as humans.

but some reason we always choose fear. and blame others who go against the grain only realizing in the end they were merely trying to show they are no longer afraid.

i could go on but ya.

The TSA was created out of the ashes of 9/11. And for me, 9/11 was an inside job.

but, we are adults. everyone has the ability to seek the truth if they so desire, or not to seek it if they so desire.

i enjoy seeking out the truth and have spent more than a few resources seeking out the truth of 9/11.

Yes, he could crash his own plane...and die.

Or he could sneak in something, hand it off to someone else who then crashes another plane. He lives and gets paid off.

Everyone should have to go through security, even pilots. The problem, as of others have pointed out, is they are giving the authority to non qualified people. You take someone who has no power in their every day life and suddenly they can mess with anyone they want at their day job, you're going to have issues.

After the shoe bomber and the new take off your shoes policy, Bill Maher had a good bit in his stand up. "Can a woman please try and smuggle a bomb in her bra?"

Every time I take my shoes off at an airport I like to think that at that very same moment the shoe bomber is being dragged out of his cell for his daily beatdown.

Somehow it makes that whole inconvenience seem a little more bearable for me.

They make you feel like a criminal when you drive also. Has anyone noticed all of the new surveillance on the highways since 2001. There is a place in Texas on I-10 where they slow you down to 45mph and have huge floodlights at night At Eye Level!! and have a camera aimed at the passenger and driver at car height and truck height. Facial recognition software is definitely being run on a national highway. Stalin and Hitler would be proud!
My man (and occasionally I when I am with him) have been stopped 11 times in the USA. We don't do drugs. We don't drink and drive. We don't speed but we have "lefty" bumper stickers. (which have been removed due to this situation.) The car has been searched without cause 2 times for "drugs". The dogs "told" the cops that there were drugs in the car. There weren't. The last time we were pulled over (while a brand new Ikea couch was on the roof rack) was AZ where the officer asked whether we had WMDs!!! Yes, can you believe it. Why would he ask us that? Because under Bushy times, if you suspected that someone was carrying WMDs, their constitutional rights were suspended. This was the 4th stop in AZ, they lead the country with Texas and Virginia very close behind. That is when the stickers came off the car and we haven't been stopped since, knock on wood.
Remember, Obama signed the "patriot Act" extension. He might not be any better and there is nothing you can do to stop this madness.
The next time someone tells you that if you don't do something wrong, you won't have a problem, tell them the above story.
"No harm, no foul"
Imagine a gun toting retard pulling you over at 11pm on a dark deserted highway. I feel fouled and in danger of harm.
