Anyone play SSF4?? did i just make a big mistake?

Years ago i loved streetfighter 2 turbo on my snes, problem is that not many other people enjoyed this game so i could never get any good matches going.

So anyway was around my friends a few weeks back and he was playing SSF4 online, gave it a go and really enjoyed it. This was on the PS3. Seems like riding a bike you never forget how to play and even though most people i played could pull off all these new super moves etc they were at times easily zoned and taken out with the basics. (obviously didn't get to play any real good players since it seems to depend on your pp points and my mate isnt all that good yet and ony had like 400 points.

So rushed out and bought a PS3 and ssf4 and the sanwa based tournement joystick. Now i was told tonight that for playing online that xbox360 is way better and has way more online players. Did i fuck up big time here and need to get rid of PS3 and buy the Xbox 360.

Anyone here really play this game and have experience with both systems? it seems hard to find out on google, since you just get people arguing about it, how does one find out the real figures of people that use each system for ssf4?

thanks for any info on this.

There's no problem. XBoxer's are retarded and dis the ps3 constantly, which BTW is a superior gaming system. Whoever told you that doesn't know what they are saying.

okay that's good news.

Going to make sure i can destroy the cpu at hardest before i go online since i want to get really used to all the new stuff. Really like akuma, never played him before but he's pretty good. The cpu is fucking hard on this game, playing on 'hard' not even really hard or hardest and the last guy this fucking Seth is a pain in the ass, took like 9 continues to beat that guy. He seems to have the best moves of everyone, bit of zangief, vega, ryu and ken, guile. Maybe learn him next.
