Sweet Jesus!! My spam filter caught over 11,000 spams addressed to me in the last 7 days!

Thank God I use spamarrest to cut this shit down. I just went through the last 1,000 spam messages and I didn't find one message that was legit.

Is it my imagination, or is spam getting worse again.

Depends. I had spam down to basically nothing, but then I downloaded a a program recommended by Fris. I'm now getting about 400 spam emails per day.

I think it might have been the Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate program he recommended. I'd have to double check, but I'm pretty sure that's the one.

I get a hell of a lot.. Mostly on emails I used for affiliate programs.. Could cut it way back if I went and started changing them and then blocked them but haven't got around to it.

Sorry, but; I am very private with my email. I've had the same email since about 2000 and it just slowly got spread around though mail list resellers.

I've found the gmail spam filter can be a bit too agressive and as I never log in and just have it on POP3 things arrive, get eaten, and I never knew I missed something important

I like the Spamarrest because I can get an email from anybody who sends an email and takes time to answer the challenge.

This way I can get email from strangers and old friends if they are a real person and really want to communicate with me.

I used to get several hundred thousand a month when I ran my own mail servers. It was insane and a major undertaking (back then) to set up correct filters which wouldn't have too many false positives.

I get about 12000 / day. Maybe 5 or 6 get through the filters.

Yes, I still run my own mail servers which might have something to do with the problem; but, spamarrrest seems to contain the spam before it lands in my inbox.

Go U-Bob!!! 80,000 Spams a week!! Your dick must really need some attention.

You guys need to learn how to use the internet. I didn't get 11000 spam emails in the past 10 years to all my email addresses combined.

I have 26386 in my gmail filter, in one month. And that is only for ONE of my emails :/

That said, Gmail spam filter is really good.
