EPassporte: pathetic
And just to be clear, EPassporte have my correct address on file. It hasn't changed in four years and I don't believe they ever had another. |
keysor has been feeding you bullshit :thumbsup
|
|
they need better quality cards
they told me they cant have raised numbers for some strange reason |
noted - post like this do affect my use of Epassporte.
So if you need some support for your liable suit, there you go. Or if you need reason to get the act together....... |
how can you not know the risk?
|
nice doing business with you btw :thumbsup

An Eltron card printer ( with magnetic strip ) and an embossopr does the trick ... I sold quite a few of those ( got them used from the Canadian Gov for next to nothing ) , including to Choice Hotels ( for door keys ), to companies doing Fidelity cards, and so on ... I don't even understand how come they don't produce the cards themselves. |

I have a bank/check card from TdBankUsa, and numbers are raised .... |

so i hit up keyser he got me a new card (i had to pay for it ) i asked if i would have to pay for a new card agian in a few months sence it was expering he said No he would get the money refunded to me as i just had to pay for another one due to the lack of quality of the card .... few months later TWO cards show up ... i got billed for BOTH card ... they refunded me for one card and would not let me activate the other one ... so in the end I ended up paying for 3 cards within 2 months and only got refunded for 1 card when i was not suppose to be paying anything for any of em ugh ugh ugh i let that issue die with em but still pisses me off daily. |

As far as time constraints go on new cards, I guarantee you... I can go to either of my banks tomorrow, tell them my existing card is worn out, and the girl will:
1. destroy my old card for me 2. create a new one in about 5 mins on their machine 3. help me activate it with my PIN # 4. Charge me nothing. And yes, I've had to do this a few times in the past 15 years. AND...if my card doesn't wear out my banks still send out new replacements every few years, again free of charge. They make enough money on my banking and transactions, they don't fucking need to charge me for a new card every time. I'm sorry, I've never applied for an epass account, no sleight to Keyzer - he's good people... but there are just too many threads of people complaining. Far too many for my liking. |
Well, epass seems to have started sucking... Here was my problem with it http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=647730

Epassporte's adult market will be DEAD the minute a better alternative comes out. Several are in the works, having learned how not to be incompetent when dealing with people's money.
|
Paypal offers a MasterCard debit card with (you guessed it) raised numbers. Hard to imagine there's guidelines on whether or not the numbers are raised.
|
Whatever they are paying Keyser it isn't enough. He is very helpful and does everything he can. Give him a raise Chris.

I was thinking of ordering a card from them because I can finally actually use my epassporte account now with out any issues. However then again maybe I wont..
|
Personally I really like that it doesn't have raised numbers.
It doesn't wear out as fast as my other cards. |

Personally I just try to get all my funds out of the ATM as soon as possible, and the fact that that is possible as soon as I get the money in my account makes me feel secured. |

i *think* the reason the numbers aren't raised on the ePassporte electron cards is because the magnetic strip *must be* swiped in order for the holding bank that is not in the US to receive the information about your purchase. when the old shopkeeper with the imprint machine tries to call ePassporte's 800# with the number and expiration date of your card it won't make any difference because the bank holding the money offshore doesn't get any information about the transaction because the magnetic strip can't be swiped. that's my best guess, not necessarily fact, but with a little training from ePassporte too. :2 cents: |

First of all, I agree about the card quality being shitty, within a year, the magnetic strip on my card shit out while I have a couple of credit cards that I used more than that for a couple of years and they still work just fine.
For me, I did contact them for a replacement card and they did get it to me in about 8 days which was faster than the 2 weeks that they told me it'd take. I did have the problem where they froze my account because it was over $5,000 during the time my card was shitting out and the time it took to get the new one in. I did fax in my info and got ahold of Keysor, within 2 hours he had my info verified and my account was working again. So, for me, I had 2 problems and they took care of me beautifully, I couldn't ask for better support. I guess that for every person that has a good experience, there's a couple of others that haven't. |
Interesting, they dont even respond lol.

Part of my delay, I am sure, was caused by people seeing that a card had been requested and then not bothering to check whether the order was actually being processed. And unfortunately, since most people seem to think Keyser is good at his job, in this instance he apparently didn't press anyone, but just repeated to me whatever he was told (and usually took most of a day each time to do that). What has happened in the past 7 days, since I was told a 3rd card was ordered and twice that it would be sent (overnighted), I don't have a clue. It seems damn silly to tell me a card has been sent when it obviously hasn't been. But with no response today, I don't know what the latest story is going be. |
i paid for my card over a month ago.. still waiting.. good thing i don't have any money on it!
