Who has used this video idea to sell a site. (Video)
 

Here's an idea for Teen, Amateur or any kind of site that can use it. Watch the video and think of how to adapt it.

When I was in the UK, yes back in the 19th Century :1orglaugh , I was selling videos mail order rather than send out a 10 girls sample tape with just cuts of the film, I got the girls to record this video.

Ami Going Home.

The idea was to get the girl to talk about her day doing the videos and what she did.

It worked well with girls who could talk for themselves, Ami had to be prompted. They came out different and their reactions to the day and the obvious fun they had sold their full tapes. It titillated without satisfying. Obviously with better editing you can drop in tiny little segments of what the girl is talking about.

So many sites today have tours that can be jerked off to and so many don't display the girls as people. Essential if selling Teens or Amateur. IMO.

Of course shortening our cutting out the intro with Ami getting on the vibrator is optional.

It can be done so many ways and with the girls all talking as themselves it gives the site a different slant than just the normal meat and potatoes approach of some. I see so many tours that are just about the action and little about the personality. If that's all the site's selling why sign up. Tubes have it in truck loads.

Also by keeping it soft it's a great way to get exposure on Youtube. Girls do Twitter, well how about a live video of what they say on Twitter. Could be a solo girl site or a multi girl site.

I couldn't do this being in Czech and the girls not speaking English or not well enough. Also video wasn't our focus. If I was running a site in the US, AU, UK or any English speaking country I would be doing this with every girl.

Even the ones that screw it up have an attraction to them, gets the guys sympathy. When shooting if the girl was lost for words and use to say "Cut" I shook my head to indicate "No". Made great footage and the buyers loved it.

The worse thing is if all girls start to sound the same like plastic cut outs.

The requirements are. The girl has to speak English, has to have had a good time and to speak "Real". Shooters who try to squeeze everything into as short a time as possible or overwork the girl, need not try it. :winkwink:

It worked by a clockwork mechanism and now on sale at a well know auction house.

go scan through a tube. there must be hundreds of videos that do the same thing.

no aim not going to do your work for you, go investigate yourself, you have plenty of time.

The idea is also to put it on a tour to help conversions. Differnet makes people take notice.

Others think it's a good idea. So maybe you're wrong.

Shot loads olie this, not all as good as Ami, Alex was the best. Will see if I have something of her. Only used it on the Sample Tapes I sold via adverts and my mailing lists. They would sell in their 1,000s at $8 a time. Never got those edited. :(

This is on the astral blue site which is all british girls from 80's and 90's?

How much of the site would you say is 80's?

Had a look on the server and though I didn't find anything like the first one I found these.

They were shot as the intro to the video, to get the girl to stand out from the others I shot and get her talking. Customers loved it when they talk and encourage them to join in. These were edited to put on soft Tube sites. Before we saw how many members loved them and decided to start Astral Blue.

The idea was to bring each girl over in her own personality.

10% is from the 80s. Stopped shooting videos for mail order in 96. In the UK a video had to be licensed and mine would never get a license in those days, they showed pussy and masturbating. So moved over to full time set shooting.

As I said never really got into shooting video here in Czech as it didn't pay as well as sets.

current tours are boring as hell - they only set themselves apart by graphic design.
I reckon this a great idea bruoght back from the past to re-inject some air into the current solo-girl site's sales :winkwink: .....

It can work beyond that. How about 2 girls discussing and describing their first lesbian experience. 10 minutes after they did it. :thumbsup

IMO showing a 20 second clip of a girl or girls in the middle of the scene is what everyone does. They lack personality and individuality because once you get to the action it's just the same old stuff time after time. The only thing that makes it worth spending money on is the knowledge she's a real person. For multi or solo girl sites, lesbian or solo I think it will add something that will make the viewer sit up and take notice. Which is half the battle today.

We sell to an audience with a jaded palette.

These were just the end of her scenes. Be honest who doesn't want to see what and how she got into that state. What a great time she had?

This is what I see.

Site owners spending $3,000 on a tour is the norm. Some spend more some spend less.

Spending $3,000 to promote the site with banners on boards isn't exactly unknown.

Spending a small fortune to throw traffic at it is normal.

Spending money, time thought on what to put on the tour is the exception. In most cases they take the existing content and chop it up into small samples to put on the tour. Some deliver enough to get the surfer off, some deliver enough to show the site is the same as 100 other sites.

VERY very few spend money to get something on the tour to convert. Other than a fancy design.

Site owners, when was the last time you shot content purely for the tour?
