My 'Conspiracy Theory'... Does it have legs?
 

I'm not a big Conspiracy Theory kinda guy, but I have been thinking about this...

Last week we had the royal wedding. I said to a few people (half Jokingly) OK, so EVERYONE is watching the wedding... What ELSE is going to happen in the world, while the world 'looks the other way?' I bet its something BIG...

Turns out, its the Bin Ladin death... Well, ok... BUT... Why wasn't Obama at the wedding? Loads of other dignitaries and world leader type people were in attendance. But not Obama... No... Hes busy overseeing the death of Bin Ladin... Hmmmm How conveinent...

Could he have known in advance that 2nd of May would be the 'Announcement date' ???

Like I say, Im not much of a conspiracy theory guy, but how come he wasn't at the royal wedding?

I agree its not really a conspiracy, in the strictest sense of the word... Its just weird to find out that Bin Ladin was the event taking place while the world looked the other way... Actually, CNN asked the same question and they found it would be too much trouble with security and such and would likely overshadow the event, so they sent a gift instead.

The Obamas were unlikely to be invited to William and Kate?s wedding. The Daily Mail said Prince William?s wedding is not an official "state occasion," since William "is not yet heir to the throne." As a result, protocol does not require the couple to invite heads of state.

Funny, given the reason President Reagan didn't attend Charles and Diana's wedding 20 years ago was due to piss poor Presidental security getting him shot.

Why would they want Obama there? Most likely either 1) they are racists or 2) how much security would be involved to protect the president, especially in such an open event

My quick thoughts on it: the presence of Obama and its circumstances would have carried the focus away from the royal wedding itself, which is a distinctive and well-prepared UK thing. I can see the point if it's true that he was not invited. Although I'm pretty sure he sent his regards, either way :)

Of course he knew about their planned operation to take out Osama before the wedding took place. They knew about his location more than six months ago. A navy seal operation like they performed probably took more than a week to plan and prepare. They had even built a copy of the house to train in.

Not really a conspiracy. Why they choose that exact date though no one knows.
Perhaps they delayed the operation an extra week, just to not take the focus of the wedding. Who knows..
