Urgent notification regarding multi-state power outage

To all customers:

Today, at 3:45 PM PST, Southern California, Arizona and Parts of Mexico began experiencing a major power outage affecting many services in and outside of the states affected. Our network is running under generator power and our network connections are in operation.

San Diego Gas and Electric is stating that they expect this outage to last "quite a while" and they hinted at "into Friday". Our Generator is able to keep our facilcities running throughout the term of the emergency as we have Diesel fuel availablility on contract.

The power outage is causing major gridlock on city streets, communications systems failures.

As most telephone networks are down in the area, there is a possibility that you may not be able to reach us by telephone. Please communicate with us via our ticket system at: https://portal.critical.net

Alternatively, you may contact us via Skype: critical.net or AIM: NJesterIII

At this time of crisis in California, we are here for our customers.

TIP: If you live in an affected area, please head to your nearest ice cream shop and enjoy the free ice cream they hand out during power outages. :-)

We will update you as necessary.

They just reported that so many people were stuck in elevators at the same time that they didnt have enough emergency crews to get them all out so alot of people are still sitting stuck in elevators.

The infrastructure in this country is just fine. We have no need to fund any such projects. Everything is fine, will continue to be fine, and contrary to what you've heard, there are no power outages of any kind.
