Dedicated Host that has very technical staff and can do custom setups upon request?
 

I'm with hostgator now and they fit most needs and are not a bad company in my opinion. But the business model is a little hard for our needs. Here's what's going on.

My partner and I are starting a new site and due to what we want to do we are going to need a hefty server setup. It will involve video conversion and needs to be quick, we were thinking a dedicated GPU with the server for this feature... My partner is the more technical one.

Aside from all that, can someone recommend a host that could have such a setup or is willing to have a setup like that.
Hostgator has said they do stuff like that but because they are a big company there staff turns over quick and during initial stages communication is vital in getting this setup.

BTW I have hosted with just about every host posted in this thread and NatNet wins hands down.

I drive them crazy with support requests and they still are nice to me ;)

For custom set up, I would suggest quadranet.com

You will not be sorry once you decide to move to Amerinoc! Your only regret will be that you didn't make the move before.

Every company mentioned here is a better choice than your existing provider.

The owner of hostgator is one hell of a worker and personality but because of the growth and what they've done, getting familiarity for a customer doesn't work so well. When I talk to staff having them remember who I am and what I'm working on is important!
I've read some of your posts Brad and i know the commitment that you put in and realize just how hard you work. The above comment can be agreed upon.
