Does anyone use IRC anymore?
 

I heard that a lot of people use IRC chat rooms to hang out, since people cannot see your info, just nickname, so therefore less spamming on emails/icq etc.


You got any ideas?

Hell, at this point I am considering dropping ICQ because no one uses it.

I'm always on irc in some way or another. you can still get spam, and people can see more then your nick - but depending on the network they mask your ident/hostname. or just connect via a shell and your good :)

Yes. I find it a very good way for brainstorming with my network.

i cant afford to use irc... :(

But it's free.. and I bet there is a poop channel there

PBCC using it.I was there but web client which i used it's crashing so i gave up at the moment.
