this is REALLY interesting, some ADHA cases in kids could be sleep deprivation. case studies show extra hour of sleep in teen raises SAT's 200 point in a year and The number of people who can survive on 6 hours of sleep or less, without showing any impairment, rounded to a whole number and expressed as a percent of the population is...ZERO explains the possible relationship between Alzheimer and long term lack of sleep as well as other illness....well worth a watch... |
That was a great podcast and some very interesting topics. I love all of JR's stuff. I'm driving to Texas next week to see my son graduate from basic training in the Air Force and plan to catch up on a bunch of podcast I've missed.

Cool. Some are bit uninteresting to me however as you stated some great stuff... have a safe trip

Sleep is good for you. Yay.

I just saw someone mention him on Twitter. He's got a book out: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ERHT0EYV7A05BB
I'll check out the book. I've always been tweaking my sleep to get better quality versus more time. I can't sleep past 6 hours typically. |

Problem with sleeping 6 hours only is how you need to compensate it somehow, so you can fall a sleep in middle of work.
|
Late afternoon is the natural time if I heard correctly. He said you can't make sleep up. You can't go 6 hours a night then sleep on the weekends to catch up.
He mentions weed as well. Weed stops REM sleep,no dreams. I didn't dream for over 3 years. It was weird. I would lay down and then get up. No sense of time really just a short break then back to it |
