iBill Won The Motion

According to Mark Lender :2 cents:

I would rather beleive the news from the horses mouth myself :2 cents:

Regards,

Lee

Johny Traffic 09-22-2004 12:21 PM

MattO 09-22-2004 12:21 PM

Whether they won or lost, it still doesn't look good for them. They still need to find a solution.

Dont they have one starting at another date, isnt the motion to hold things as they are till then? I could be wrong but thats how I understood it

PornGeneral 09-22-2004 12:26 PM

Denied, Granted, or whatever... Still doesn't fix the problem...

Is he trying to sell share of IBD?

tootie 09-22-2004 12:27 PM

Hmm, very odd situation.

scoreman 09-22-2004 12:27 PM

They lost. Lee try asking further up the chain than Lender.

.:St Ides:. 09-22-2004 12:28 PM

If the motion was granted this gives them time to move set up and keep going.

We need ibill as much as it needs us

Drake 09-22-2004 12:28 PM

Hope you're right Lee:)

stocktrader23 09-22-2004 12:29 PM

Can see the people processing with Ibill scurrying for any good news to hold on to. Hope you are right but it's doubtful.

Rick Latona 09-22-2004 12:29 PM

Why doesn't Garrett Bender, iBill's CEO come on this board, like Epoch's and CCBill's have, and state for the record that they won their motion? The NY Court Records are public, so if he is telling the truth, he should post. The facts are clear. They were Denied and they are not processing in the USA, at least.

Why would they lie? If they lost we'd all know about it anyway, this is getting crazy, surley someone will confirm soon, can't be doing them any good either way like this

There laywers have put a gag order on them, since this is a public domain it could be used against them in court.

They are waiting until they have everything in order "even if it's not good news" to post and make a statement

Shap 09-22-2004 12:35 PM

Rick, Garrett is no longer CEO of ibill. The guy calling all the shots is Mark Smith. He often posts here. I think in this situation they can't make any public comments on the situation.

Shoplifter 09-22-2004 12:35 PM

Win or lose it doesn't matter if they freeze payouts. All the major clients will be gone in a day or two and there will be no incoming cash stream.

I (unfortunately) have to agree. Ibill has only processed 5% of my normal business volume today on all of my master accounts. FUCK! Anyone else who uses ibill seeing similar stats?

PornGeneral 09-22-2004 12:39 PM

They are a public company. I do not believe it is a gag order but for the reason anything made public be it bad or good could come back to bite them. They need to watch what is said in public.

Garrett is not iBill's CEO.

They are not paying out to EU webmasters so it is a moot point.

I've not been able to find one that was paid this week. And believe me I am looking.

Are there any EU sponsored merchants who have been paid here?

Do you honestly think I'd put my name out there on breaking this story if I wasn't 100% correct with verifiable sources?

alan-l 09-22-2004 01:01 PM

Happily we left the IBill ship 2 years ago :glugglug

European Lee 09-22-2004 01:05 PM

Just got off the phone with Mark and he told me that his comment was in relation to yesterdays Motion about First Data being in breach of contract.

Just wanted to clarify that ;)

No need to back yourself up... given the two choices of people to believe... I think you'll get 99% of GFY'ers votes any day.

Fishy, doubt the Court ruled on trial issues. Only thing the Court would rule on now is Emergency TRO and injunctions.

PornGeneral 09-22-2004 01:32 PM

Are you pulling this information from you ass?

They filed this case this week. I know from experiance in legal matters that breach of contract is a trial issue. What is your game?
