are .biz domains worthless?

I realize a domain is only as good as you make it, in most cases.

But i'm wondering if the .biz extension is useless? I mean what if i had pineapple.biz? would that be viewed as a $50/domain?

It really depends on how you use them. And I am willing to bet, that Dole would buy the pineapple .biz name from you.

.biz has never hit. it got abused by scammers who use them for cheap reg's for throwaway domains :2 cents:
