iBill Fired It's IT Department
Rumor has it iBill just let go the last 3 IT people it had. This is from some pretty reliable sources, and it doesn't look good.
|
IBill has been dead for months. Sad

Replaced with an infinite number of monkeys with typewriters?

I still think March 15th will be the day they go bust, for obvious corporate reasons

I just hope this never ever happens to CCBILL!!!!!
**keeps fingers crossed!** |

BTW...if you are using them, check your transactions and make sure they are correct and there is nothing additional being added to them. |
I'm surprised iBill had any departments left to get rid of.

No more fishing after March 15th. Somewhere I think there's a coincidental parallel. |
If i think back 8 years or so when i first opened an account with Ibill they had serious issues even then. My rep was constantly making excuses by saying Ibill was growing so fast and the IT guys could not keep pace. They had issues of software refunding many thousands of membership fees for no reason other than a software glitch . Hours sometimes days when the CMI was down. Days sometimes weeks when reps didn't return phone calls or have the knowledge to answer your questions. Scripts which allowed passwords to be added by almost anyone, the list goes on and on.
The writing was on the wall when Bender sold Ibill to Penthouse and it just got worse from then on. I don't think a bank as huge as First Data would hold on to all those millions of $$ without a very serious reason and i can only guess what that may have been ? I doubt it will happen with CCbill as long as they move with the times and keep adding new and useful features to keep pace with programs like Nats. But if they sit back and ignore the fast changes that happen in Adult then who knows ? Quote:

The only fishing Iballs is doing is maximizing the amount of revenue it can take in before they go belly up LOL

I'm sure Ibillfan has all the inside info... just wait it.

It's true. Not a rumor. Spoke with one of their ex-programmers today

At least you didn't have to worry about it, because all sign ups were always being tracked well when it was down iBill did assure me every time again :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |
Not to worry....Rodrigo has awesome IT skills, he can handle it :thumbsup
|
so who is gonna write the book:
the rise and fall of IBill ? I am in the middle of my booklet but .............. |

This is what the email from Michelle ? the AndrewatIbill Replacement, suggests: At this point there has been no more discussion regarding the funding. I know that there are no new negotiations with cash to the client. For client?s that are still processing with us they are making an offer of some XTV stock. |

What do i THINK - I think you should pay me - Everybody should stay away from Ibill. |
Here is some snippets from thier news page:
iBill Moves Headquarters Internet Billing Company, LLC (iBill) announced that the relocation of their corporate headquarters to more cost-efficient facilities has been completed. By: Ibill.com More Headlines 07/14/05 iBill Launches Blog 06/06/05 Security Advisory 05/17/05 IBill Claims to Have Fixed Payment Glitch 04/14/05 iBill Attempts Turnaround 04/12/05 IBD Will Make Initial Payments to iBill Clients Fr 08/13/04 iBill Launches System Upgrades and Expands Product Wow, after reading all that I'd be very, very concerned if they owed me any money. The fact that they are stupid enough to brag about such things and call attention to them by sending press releases really underscores the stupidity at play here. |

http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=ITTV.OB Funny, I remember having an arguement with Fabien quite some time ago about XTV's involvement with iBill. Guess they can't deny it any more. Turn out the lights, the party's over.... |

Ibill will come back stronger than ever! Great name recognition. Rates have just been reduced further , to only 3.99 per cent for first 90 days. Compare that to ccbill and segpay!
This is a great time to get in on the ground floor! All checks will be going out in March as previously planned . . ? |
Quote:
they were never solid or much respected, and as for profitable, I am sure if you looked at the books, they were only profitable for the owner |
bump for march $$$-money-$$$.
|
they fired their IT people because they don't need them anymore. They're simply done ripping off webmasters and stashing their money somewhere in the Caribbean
|
I donīt believe it until Rodrigo confirms it here on the board. :1orglaugh
|
Don't be surprised if some large checks start going out in the mail in the next two weeks. The layoff of the IT department is just a matter of getting rid of "dead wood" that is no longer needed. That much more money for the webmasters who are owed back payments!
People should be aware that this is the best time to get in on the Ibill bandwagon. It is not too late to sign up as an Ibill customer! |
Hey Webmiser does your mouth bleed every 28 days ?
