I Demand An Increase To The Webmaster Minimum Wage!

I feel that every PER SIGNUP sponsor should increase their payouts by $5 ACROSS THE BOARD....

fuzzylogic 07-05-2006 02:55 AM

it would be about time!

sonofsam 07-05-2006 02:55 AM

I demand you khafesho and gomsho

Paul Markham 07-05-2006 02:58 AM

I think affiliates money should be halved per sign up and the money saved spent on increasing the members area and members satisfaction level.

This could bring ratios down to a much better level and actually increase the amount affiliates earn.

I thin PPS sponsors should increase my payouts by $5.

Discuss!

Members will cancel no matter how much you spend on content. Surfers like to cancel memberships almost as much as they like to masterbate.

flashbang 07-05-2006 03:52 AM

why so they increase the shave ratio even more?

Summer is most likely not the best time to discuss increases, but what the heck. To compensate for the extra $5, about every sponser would move to installing malware, precheck cross sales, trojans, selling of user and affiliate information or any other borderline or unethical practice for the difference.

The money would have to come from somewhere :2 cents:

ah comrad, got yourself a solution there. Just make sure the breadlines at the webmaster shows are long enough to feed the poor.

You would be setting sail on a downward spiral, of less webmasters, less revenue, fewer content updates = less webmasters, less revenue, even few content updates = site closing or begging for webmaster aid from superpower programs.

Didn't you guys pay attention in the 80s? Google the trickle down theory, raising payouts to webmasters will increase revenue in the long term, lowering payouts to affiliates will decrease revenue.

Free market, man. Free market.

scottybuzz 07-05-2006 05:37 AM

goldrush 07-05-2006 05:43 AM

actually i think that everyone should donate $5 from every one of their signups to me, thanks.

tranza 07-05-2006 05:46 AM

I agree. Or even $10!

:)

georgeyw 07-05-2006 05:55 AM

try revshare - pays more than pps :)

MyNameIsNobody 07-05-2006 06:07 AM

revshare is a great thing.. ^^

Doctor Dre 07-05-2006 06:13 AM

They can also increase shaving of 25 % with that if you want.

Stallion 07-05-2006 06:17 AM

I would like higher payouts but I am happy with what I am getting. I remember when they used to be about 1/2 of what we are getting now per signup. The good ole Click Thru Calvin per click programs. lol.

This is correct because you make money even when you take a day off.

This is a very competitive market and sponsors know by increasing their PPS payouts they can increase the number of joins quite drastically. Keep in mind they also have to remain profitable and competitive. it's not just a matter of increasing it for the hell of it, it has to be possible for their profitability as well. But so long as you have profitable traffic, its not hard to negotiate payout increases.

I think you and FunForOne are missing the point.

Yes when they leave one site they should go join another site because we have given them such a great experience they are keen as mustard to get back and buy more.

However the truth is many do not come back to buy because we have disappointed them, that's a mild word and it can go up to RIPPED THEM OFF. Many do it to pay the affiliates as much as possible to get them to send traffic. Which they need in increasing amounts because the surfer is getting more reluctant to spend money.

So we have cause and effect. Sites disappointing members so they can pay affiliates more while making the affiliates job harder by making more mambers want to spend money.

What I'm saying is we break out of the cycle, we stop thinking of members as guys to be short changed and start making them want to buy from us more often.

With ratios of around 1-1000 on an industry average we have a lot of surfers to convert.

What ever goes into the affiliates pocket has to come out of the surfers, increasing the payouts to affiliates can be done three ways. One cut down on what you give to the member, two squeeze more money from him, three get ratios down by making more surfers happy to buy.

Which method do you think would benefit us all in the long run?
